Palin is earning her spot at the top of the ticket.

Give me a break!! Do you live in fear of what the media thinks or says? Sarah doesn’t - that’s what probably sets her apart from most. If she did, she would be a no-name by now - she’s been through it all. She proved them - they have no power over her, NO MATTER WHAT.

All Sarah would have to do is write ‘Corpsman’ on her hand - and the media would be silenced while the country would laugh and, one more time, see the hypocrisy of the media.

You can succumb to the fear of the media all you want - and with that mindset YOU have given over your power to them.
And by your post, you want others to fall in line w/your mindset - AIN’T GOING TO HAPPEN!

And when they do we just repeat corpse-man. Which is the worst faux pas? Something many people mispronounce or something no CinC should EVER get wrong? We get too bogged down in this kind of stuff...Obama supposedly has the eloquence these yokels (you know, Reagan, Bush, Palin) don’t have. Look where that’s gotten us. Even our allies are laughing at us.

You are really over-reacting. I’m not at all afraid of the “media”. I just think that as conservatives we ought to strive for the highest standards in everything we do.

Behold the power of Sarah:

Facebooks “death panels” and almost kills Obamacare.

Chastizes Rahm Emmanuel and forced him to issue public apology.

Ridicules Obama’s new nuclear policy and two days later he changes it.

So Sarah!

You are really over-reacting.

I'M over reacting??? After what Sarah has just said/done for our country and against Barry JUST in this situation - YOU post and show concern about a 'pronunciation'? How freaking lame and over reacting YOU are!

BTW, it's obvious what your are 'trying' and once your mindset was exposed you project what you are doing towards me. Typical.

we ought to strive for the highest standards in everything we do.

Tell me - who isn't? YOU, YOUR LEADER? Your 'we' is laughable but I understand your NEED to use it. Hint: Credible can't be had with a word.

BTW, conservatives don’t live in fear of the media - nor are they concerned about pronunciation - they leave the unimportant for the left to harp on as THAT is what the LEFT does.

Nice try, chump, but that crapola doesn’t work on conservatives. What will the media say/do/think? LOL!!!!!

Not concerned about ‘others’ just those posting on a conservative site with ‘things’ that aren’t relevant in the hopes that they do become relevant by planting seeds of doubt to others.

What does Sarah have?

Does she have experience? In fact, her experience is good but not great.

Does she have a solid record of accomplishment. In fact, her accomplishments are good, but given the fact that she quit as governor (regardless of how good her reasons were, reasons I agreed with, and continue to agree with), it limits what she can point to as her accomplishments.

What she does have — or what she did have, until she started campaigning for McCain — was an absolute and ruthless honesty that no other person on the American scene had. She had believability. She had rock-solid conservative credentials that were wedded to a rock-solid personal integrity and deep, deep abiding honesty.

Then she stood up and called McCain a good conservative. She didn’t just say (out of understandable loyalty) that she is supporting McCain in his run for Senate re-election. She said, in effect, that he is one of us. That he is one of the true ones. One of the ones who will help us save this great country of ours.

No matter what you think of Sarah, you cannot accept that that is anything other than a lie.

And once Sarah tells a lie — and she has told this lie in regards to McCain — she has lost credibility.

And for Sarah, more than any other politician on the American scene today, credibility is the fundamental reason for supporting her in the first place.

Unless you worship her as a Michael Jackson fan worshiped Michael, then you must coldly and objectively look at what she has done and say, “This is unacceptable.”

Chill out a bit. She is paying her dues for a 2012 run.

If she does not do it, she will receive no help from other politicians.

She is earning her run and doing it well.

I understand she owes that traitor her support for his re-election campaign. Fine. But she could simply just support him.

But what words has she chosen to express that support? Have you heard them? Do you know what she’s saying about him? They are all lies. Everything she says about McCain is a bald-faced and inexcusable lie.

As for me, I wish her well (sincerely) in her new career as political pundit and Fox News commentator. I think she’ll be very effective and I think she’ll put her shoulder to the wheel and help elect many good people to office, not just that traitor she’s whole-heartedly supporting in AZ.

I’m sorry but I was hating John McCain long before I ever even knew anything about Sarah Palin. In my view she has undercut her credibility too much to be a serious contender.

That doesn’t mean she can’t be a serious voice. She is. That’s why Barry is taking her seriously. But to think of her working her butt of to put That Traitor back in the Senate (where he will immediately proceed to stab us all in the back for the next 6 years)... well, President Palin? I think not.

President Palin is becoming a distinct possibility. Her political instincts are amazing to behold. She made it terribly difficult to pass the Obamacare bill and she forced the Prez to make some extremely seedy deals to get the votes that he needed. A simple mention of “Death Panels” and the damage was done.

Her comments on the nuclear doctrine have put Obama and Hillary on the defensive, backtrackiung and back filling and trying to repair the damage done to them. One comment did that damage.

This administration has been made to look foolish both by their actions and Sarah’s calling attention to the silliness of the doctrine. Not bad.

As far as “foreign policy experience” she, like most all Presidential hopefuls, has none. The last Prez who did have terrific creds in this area was Ike Eisenhower. that is why wer have a State Department that is so large.

She is doing a great job of running for the Presidency and I believe that she will win it in 2012.

As far as your need for ideological purity, it’s not realistic. Never was.

I just think that as conservatives we ought to strive for the highest standards in everything we do.

One of Allinsky's Rules for Radicals is to hold your (Communists) opponents to the highest possible standards while they, the Communists, are free to do anything they want. Lying, cheating, deception, even murder are all OK as necessary means to their glorious end - a Communists Utopia, a Workers Paradise. These are just like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow - they never existed and never will. Yet, in the pursuit of that illusive goal, any means is justified by that end.

You, and many other conservative Americans, succumb to their admonitions that we must be the best, that we must not become them. That is another form of political correctness which is designed to silence us while they take the stage for a continuous propaganda performance.

How do you think a good man like George W. Bush was turned into the Devil and Hitler combined while an outright Communist waltzed into the WH? They spent eight years demonizing Bush while no one, including him and us, defended him. Now we have what we have.

We need not be so careful. Instead we should be bold. Anything they accuse us of we can turn on them by pointing out the many times they have done much worse. We now have a voice in Fox News and talk radio. They no longer have the only stage in town. We need to grind their noses into the ground! (See, even that they would call an incitement to violence in order to silence us. I will tell them to shove it!)

What you call ideological purity I call simple fair-minded common-sense, holding back from whole-hearted support of, and telling cover-up-style lies in service of, a man who has stabbed conservatives in the back for decades.

That’s not quite ideological purity.

There are some things a conservative just does not do. Throwing 100% support behind John McCain is one of those things.

Your list of Palin positives is a good one and, as I said, I look forward to seeing her continuing to use her influence in the media to assist real conservatives in getting elected. I’m sorry that she’s not one herself.

Your opinion is so unimportant and will never change reality.

Right on!

Seems like some are too clueless to realize the alinsky’s rules don’t play w/conservatives.

When our country is being taken down the commie path and someone chirps in...pronunciation is important - you gotta feel sympathy for someone even trying an attempt to pull that sh*t! For they are truly beyond hope.

Sam, in addition to what I posted in # 56 you are doing something else that is toxic for conservatives - insisting on the perfect candidate. What is perfect for you is not perfect for us all. You are allowing perfect to be an enemy of good and that is no help in overturning this Communist takeover.

Constantly picking at what you call a defect in a candidate gives encouragement to liberal trolls on FR. They pick up on that and keep pounding on it.

You are not lone of those are you?
