President Palin is becoming a distinct possibility. Her political instincts are amazing to behold. She made it terribly difficult to pass the Obamacare bill and she forced the Prez to make some extremely seedy deals to get the votes that he needed. A simple mention of “Death Panels” and the damage was done.

Her comments on the nuclear doctrine have put Obama and Hillary on the defensive, backtrackiung and back filling and trying to repair the damage done to them. One comment did that damage.

This administration has been made to look foolish both by their actions and Sarah’s calling attention to the silliness of the doctrine. Not bad.

As far as “foreign policy experience” she, like most all Presidential hopefuls, has none. The last Prez who did have terrific creds in this area was Ike Eisenhower. that is why wer have a State Department that is so large.

She is doing a great job of running for the Presidency and I believe that she will win it in 2012.

As far as your need for ideological purity, it’s not realistic. Never was.

What you call ideological purity I call simple fair-minded common-sense, holding back from whole-hearted support of, and telling cover-up-style lies in service of, a man who has stabbed conservatives in the back for decades.

That’s not quite ideological purity.

There are some things a conservative just does not do. Throwing 100% support behind John McCain is one of those things.

Your list of Palin positives is a good one and, as I said, I look forward to seeing her continuing to use her influence in the media to assist real conservatives in getting elected. I’m sorry that she’s not one herself.
