Okay, so the radicals want to chill the speech of law abiding citizens because they dont agree with their message? How un-American is that?
Heres what you can do to thwart their attempt:
1. Email the teaparty crashers at crashtheteaparty@gmail.com email link and let them know you do not support their effort of infringing upon the rights of others to free speech.
2. You can email PayPal at service@paypal.com email link and let them know that www.crashtheteaparty.org is accepting "charitable donations" and is not a registered charity in the state of Oregon so naturally you fear they may be committing fraud. It also appears to be a violation fo PayPal's use agreement for an entity to take "donations" that is not a legitimate not for profit.
3. Finally, you can email the person who registered www.crashtheteaparty.org at xenex11@gmail.com email link his name is Jason Levin from Portland Oregon (geesh! of course). His website is here; http://www.zane-levin.com/ Apparently he is a technology consultant who graduated from San Francisco State University. Go figure.
NOTE: Do not give this guy any ammunition. Just let him know you believe it is ironic that self-proclaimed proponents of free speech will go to great lengths to attempt to quash the speech of those with whom they dont agree. You could follow by suggesting that freedom loving Americans who make up the Tea Party movement aren't going to take their crap any longer and will push back through all legal means their attempt to suppress our freedom of speech.
The Kewl Kos Klatch.
Yes, to take “donations” PayPal’s user agreement requires them to be registered entities. In fact, there are only certain organizations that qualify to accept donations via PayPal depending upon their registration with their respective states and the IRS.
Trust me on this, I am on the board of a non-profit who had to jump through hoops to keep our donation buttons working via PayPal.
Now, you can sell anything you like within the guidelines of PayPal but donations are restricted to non-profit public benefit organizations.
Here come the brownshirts. At some point, this is going to take on a life of its own. No one can predict what will happen, but it won’t be pleasant.
An observation: no one has the right to threaten or perpetrate harm upon me or mine. No one. Anyone who knows what I’m saying will aso know what to do.
Surrender that right and you have no right to call yourself human.
RIGHT! LOL! For some reason submitting comments didnt work so I kept hitting that post button!
GREAT POST!
Jason Levin is a gun fanatic too

....Just saying......
Free Republic is not a "not for profit" yet PayPal lets this site keep the "Donate" link.
How do you explain that?
TEA Party patriots must watch out for saboteurs and (even worse) infiltrators. Knowing about these "crashers" and giving them no ammunition will help a lot.
What did I do wrong by posting the DOMAIN INFO for crashtheteaparty.org?
Can I post this?

I just got an email from Jason Levin and he claims to have no idea why he is getting emails about this. Better check out the address.
Uh, it is a registered entity with a public benefit purpose. Didn’t say it has to be a 501c(3). If people are taking “donations” and they are not an entity with a public benefit purpose they are violating PayPal’s user agreement. If you don’t agree with that, take it up with PayPal.
They lost their freedom of speech when their speech is intended to infringe upon ours. Check out case law on the topic. If the purpose of their speech is to infringe upon your rights, their speech is subordinate to yours.
Who is breaking the law? I think you are over reacting.
Look FRiend. You’ve been on Free Republic for a couple of months and I am not going to take your word on how PayPal operates. In my experience, you are wrong about them and I think it’s a very bad idea to encourage Freepers to harass them based on your word.
Well said!
Ever wonder where the money goes?
