LOL.

Those pics at this blog nearly made me spit out my coffee.

Priceless.

"Boycott grapes." ROTFL.

That U.S. Labor Department official just gave bloggers, freepers, various alternative media, talk radio (and on and on) grand slams to hit repeatedly.

Uh, this is far beyond a laughing matter.

Ya better hope it does not get to the point where there are millions going hungry...With tens of millions now out of work, it could very well happen.

Yes the economy is recovering, that is exactly why over 400 thousand people are losing their jobs EVERY WEEK.

I thought holidays spurred economic activity?

Just heard today, we’re about to have furloughs and I expect my health insurance rates to rise about $200 a month soon.

Thanks Obama!

A Labor Department official attributed the rise in claims to seasonal volatility, mainly from the Easter holiday (a.k.a Easter Bunny) and noted there were shutdowns in two states. A holiday on March 31 in California (Cesar Chavez Day) also had an effect on claims, he said.

You would think that if the offices were closed that the claims coouldn't be filed and the number of claims would be *lower*.

While the Census Bureau is hiring like mad to cover up the dismal employment numbers, unemployment continues to vastly outstrip the government’s ability to replace the private sector.
