I’ve seen this coming for awhile.

I think Sarah would be awesome as chairma’am of the RNC. She could do a lot to try to turn the party around, and we have a desperate need for that.

Ain’t gunna happen. Get over it.
To: publius321
Nope, ain’t gonna happen.
T’wouldn’t be prudent!
She’s got bigger fish to fry.
Palin 2012!
To: publius321
I don’t think that’d be a good match for her. That job needs a quite efficient fund raiser. Emphasis on quiet.

Steele is a eunuch and must be replaced ASAP, IMO.

I adore Sarah; but RNC is way beneath her dignity. Ari Fleischer for RNC. Over the past year, he has made TV talking heads explode with his direct and barbed answers and arguments. Just the kind of RNC Chair we need.

Michael Steele was the first affirmative action RNC chairman because the main reason he was picked is because he is black like Obama and not because of his top leadership skills and his finely tuned political senses.

Palin doesn’t owe McCain anything-—I don’t think she was waiving her hand like Horshak in “Welcome Back Kotter” -—ooh,ooh, pick me pick me. He needed a woman-—and she outshined him-—much to his chagrin.

Could be interesting if she backed an allied retiring governor, who could then be at the ready as a running mate if that worked out.

If Steele TRULY gave a damn about the country; he would resign in favor of a COMPETENT chairman...
