Thousands of students and concerned parents are calling for the cancellation of a blasphemous play at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. The offensive production Corpus Christi by Terrence McNally portrays Christ and the twelve Apostles as homosexuals.
The lewd production was recently canceled at Tarleton State University in Texas due to peaceful protest. And now Gallaudet University is facing a similar protest for its decision to host the play on April 8-10.
Among those calling for the cancellation of the play is a Catholic group called The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property -- TFP. Its student members launched an online petition last week inviting people to send protest emails to the university. Thousands have already done so at www.tfpstudentaction.org.

Time to stand up.
Many years ago I took my family to a pizza shop in College Park, MD. We were standing in line and for the longest time it didn’t move, but there sure was a lot of activity. I figured out Galludet was playing at UMD and the guy at the front was signing orders for all the deaf kids in the joint.
Galludet students have a history of throwing hissy fits and protests around here.
our protests will fall on deaf ears
Funny how the government at all levels always complains it never has enough money but there ALWAYS seems to be money for this crap.
Does Terrence McNally have the cajones to write a play where Mohammad is a ‘fluffer’ to a bunch of drag queens on the set of a gay porn movie???
Here’s my sign language for these cretins.......................__!__
Yes it does. The protesters also have a right to counter them and discourage the school to allow it on stage. Free speech means someone is going to get their feelings hurt. What would happen if a catholic group staged a play mocking homosexuals? Hate crime, right? Thats what failure to protect speech will get us. We haven't done our duty and 'hate speech' is proof of it.
You can stop anything at Galludet by labelling it “not deaf enough”.
