Houston Woman Kills Home Invader...But A Shot Hits Husband Too

A Houston, Texas couple were accosted by an armed home invader who wanted cash and drugs this week.

It was considerate of the home invader to give the couple a week to meet his demands.

I think she did well considering that she was shooting at a bad guy in very close proximity to the good guy. Shooting more than once quickly has a larger possibility that subsequent bullets will not be so centered as the first shot. I give her an unqualified kudos.

I can't be too hard on her either. After all, her hubby only got a minor wound. I'm just saying that home defense weapons are best loaded with hollow-points. They make a .22 magnum the equivalent of a .38 with nowhere near the kick.

A .22 magnum loaded with hollow-points is a great defense weapon for a woman or an elderly person, and not half-bad for a man.
