There is a troll named "zhanaya" who signed up yesterday and sent me an angry freep mail about something I commented on quite a while ago.
"zhanaya" was very indignant and also a very bad writer. I think it's probably some teenybopper out of school for Easter Break. Seems to be a pattern here.
I told "zhanaya" to back off or be zotted.

Posting won’t do any good, use ‘Report abuse’ on the user instead. Probably won’t do much good either though; the mods seem strangely reluctant to deal with even the most blatant libtard trolls. People who post in eligibility threads will know what I mean ...

These are what I call “Google trolls”. An obscure comment in a Freerepublic thread will pop up in a search for certain keywords, maybe “Alexandar Hamilton” in this case. The thread may be years old, the troll sees this comment, wets their pants and signs on to the forum in a huff, then will post in that thread or pm whoever offended them.
It’s usually the standard “racist, sexist homophobic” tripe in their posts and then they will be zotted or never show up again.

Yep..... something is screwy. You can type the name in on the to line as a post, hit preview and it accepts it as a recognized name. If not recognized the post would be rejected as name not found/recognized.

I agree. The name zhanaya doesn't give results when doing a 'unsername' search, but works in 'Reply'. Ad Mod, we may have a Troll issue. Is there something wrong with our search function? I've seen this happen before in the past couple weeks with different usernames.
If we could find them, we could have some fun before the ZOT.
