Time for apologies to Tea Partiers
The American Thinker ^ | March 29, 2010 | Clarice Feldman

It is an unfortunate fact of modern American politics that right wing movements are demonized as racists by their political opponents with a lot of help from the media. The most recent such incident was the claim that black congressmen had been called racist terms and spit on by tea party activists before the ObamaCare vote.

As Gateway Pundit meticulously demonstrates the charge was utterly false.

Andrew Breitbart , in fact, offered payment for proof:

"On Thursday of last week Andrew Breitbart at Big Government offered $10,000 to any of the reported victims for proof of a racial attack. No one will! And, in this economy you know someone would if they could. No one came forward. Nothing happened. It was all a lie."

It's way past time that the people who make such false charges and the media which megaphone them in the absence of solid evidence apologize for the slander. We join Gateway Pundit in demanding the apology.

Exactly. Flood the zone with tea parties. No Democrat should be able to walk from a building to a car without being teapartied. The penalty for complaining about tea parties should be more tea parties. The goal is to demoralize them and to show them that there’s more of us than them and that we are energized...

I like that.

I don’t see Georgia on that map which is crazy to me. Georgia/Tennessee/Alabama would be a HUGE draw in a Tea Party protest.

I saw that one. We need to keep it up and pound the MSM like a cheap cutlet until their ratings are below those of the Morning Farm Report.

The situation was tailor-made for the Dems to cook up this farce. The presence of the Tea Partiers made it easy. Just get some Black congressmen to march through the chanting (”kill the bill”) protesters, and then claim they were hurling racial epithets. Having a veteran of the sixties civil rights marches, John Lewis, around was also planned. Naturally Big Lib Media would run with the fake right-haters story.
