Restrictions on health insurance providers cancelling insurance policies: Insurance companies are prohibited from cancelling insurance policies for any reason except in cases of fraud or other misrepresentation of information. The health insurance provider must give prior notice to the policy holder before cancelling a policy.
Insurance providers must cover government recommended preventative health services: Health insurance providers are required to cover, and may not impose cost sharing for government recommended preventative care, Center for Disease Control recommended immunizations, and Health Resources and Services Administration recommended preventative child care.
Extensions of Dependent Coverage: Any health insurance provider that provides dependent coverage of children must allow unmarried adults to remain on their parents health insurance policy until the age of 26. This regulation does not extend to any children of the dependent child. This regulation also, does not change the definition of dependent for tax purposes; meaning that parents with an adult child as a dependent on their insurance policy may not claim that adult child as a dependent on their taxes.

You know I have a feeling that when the SHTF and the true costs of this thing starts to sink in, the democraps are not going to know what hit them. It is just coming to a slow boil now and when it reaches full boil it will make MT. St. Helens looke like a sparkler on the 4th of July.
Eventually the government will be everyones insurance company.
“This regulation also, does not change the definition of dependent for tax purposes; meaning that parents with an adult child as a dependent on their insurance policy may not claim that adult child as a dependent on their taxes.”
WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN? If the adult child (say, for example, student) is a dependent but on the health insurance, we cannot claim him or her as a dependent?
It just means that even though a child is a dependent on your health insurance, doesn’t mean you can claim them as a dependent for tax purposes....For example, if you have a 26 year old “child” as a dependent on your health insurance policy, you cannot claim that “child” as a dependent on your taxes
