Regarding the Cleaver spitting claim... I watched the video from flopping aces closely... before walking up the steps, Leave it to Cleaver had espied the man in the black shirt shouting with his hands cupped around his mouth, the wheels instantly churned in his victim class mind to confront the man. As he inched closer he nonchalantly turned his head away from the man and when he knew, from the sound of the man’s shouts, that he was nearest the man, he pulled a slip artist stunt, jerked around facing the man and charging him with the offense. But his art was not perfected... it wasn’t till he was several steps away from the man before he realized, he had not pulled the stunt off quite right. His last and most convincing move had not been properly timed, for who, when being spat upon, isn’t going to wipe the spittle instantly off his face... he waited too long, he was well past the "offender" before wiping his face in fain disgust. A most unconvincing performance... but for the Socialist Democratic Media.

He had planned this sham well before the walk through the Tea Party crowd.

Change the ‘p’ to an ‘h’ in ‘spit’ and you’ve got what him and his ilk have been doing to us for decades.
If he was lying about this he needs to be charged with slander. Sounds like entrapment techniques.
I, too, thought Cleaver maneuvered himself nonchalantly for the set up. And, my, but Cleaver has super quick reaction time... or maybe he’s just a fraud.
When you are speaking to someone (friend, boss, constituent) in close proximity and they are the ‘spray it’ type (most likely because of ill fitting dentures or borrowed dentures from dead siblings) You usually wait to wipe it off or scratch another part of your face and then side swipe the spittle in a way to not offend the spittle speaker.
When a foe, enemy or jerk ‘sprays it’ you call them on it instantaneously- you don’t walk away and then accuse them of spitting - OK, unless you had novacaine recently.....
I noticed the exact same thing. What hooey from Cleaver!
It isa perfect example of changing the conversation from the truth to a myth. He was not spit on.
