The answer to the question in the title of this piece is, of course, yes, Obama will end the military’s “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” policy. Honestly, now – was there ever any question about how this would play out? Of course not!
The entire US Military will change the moment the word comes down from on high. In fact, it has already begun. Many, many, veterans are shamed and disgusted by the decision to throw the doors of theUS Military open wide to allow homosexuals to serve openly in the Armed Forces of the United States.

Perhaps someone in the military can tell me: is this really a lifestyle that many gays would be attracted to? I mean, most of them aren’t the he-man type and aren’t too interested in crawling around on their bellies during live-fire exercises. Surely the numbers that will be attracted to the military will be small?

For Obama to end “Don’t ask Don’t tell,” he will have to repeal the law which he can’t legally do with an executive order.
Gates just replaced DADT with the three monkeys. Officially now if a homosexual outs himself then no one is allowed to listen to it at the lower levels where troops have to deal with the problem. I suppose gang rape by homosexuals is what is now required to warrant official notice.
It has already been interpreted almost out of existence by Gates, surely with some strong prodding by the Imam-in-Chief.
