Mitt Romney had his chance, and he blew it.
He was given the opportunity to establish himself as the Leader of the Republican Party on what has become the defining issue between the nation's two major political parties, and, in the process, solidify his position as the front-running candidate for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination; but rather than showing the intelligence, cunning, and courage necessary to take ownership of the issue, he showed none, and blew it.
All he had to do was say six simple words, words Americans love to hear: "I was wrong. I am sorry."

the problem is there are a lot of Rino’s like him
Romney shouldn’t be in the running, but I’m sure he will be the darling of the MSM in the same way McQueeg was a darling. They’ll prop him up until they can pull the rug out from under him and get their ‘dear leader’ Barack elected to another term.
While Gov.Palin was working against ObamaCARE
where was the most-RINO backstabber-in-chief Mitt Romney?
Hiding, sending out his manipulators,
selling his ghostwritten book,
helping Gore push the fraud of climate change,
and actually (true to form) attacking the "tea party".
I said my byes a long time ago.
Romney could cause us some trouble in 2011, because of his wealth. McCain and his political machine in Arizona is co-opting several tea parties.....all because of his wealth. Maybe we could just shoot em both?..... Nah.... LOL!
bye bye Kitten-Mittins.....
....Don’t let the door hit you in the @$$ on the way out....and don’t get your magic underwear in a twist
I didn’t read the article, but I did write on FR while they were disemboweling the US Constitution last weekend that the best thing Romney could have done for himself and for our cause would have been to launch a massive speaking tour during which he held up the FAILED EXAMPLE OF MASS.-RUN HEALTH CARE as a reason to reject the socialist-medicine bill.
RomneyCARE creator Mitt Romney:
Now that my Romneycare is national ready to hurt hundreds of millions,
a little self examination may be in order for you FReepers.
You may want to ask yourself if I had spent my time promoting
RomneyCare and Mitt Romney , could not I have garnered more support
of both Mr. Obama and Gov.Mitt Romney?
He doesn’t think he is wrong. That’s the entire problem with him.
I agree. Romney has not risen to grasp the conservative mantle. He had every opportunity to lead the fight against cap and trade and health care and Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman have been the most vocal opponents followed by house and senate Republicans and talk radio. We have had enough of the soft Republicanism that Romney represents.
Mitt is like a less horny Republican John Edwards or Bill Clinton. You can’t trust a word out of his mouth. He ran as a pro-abort, anti-gun, pro “health-care reform,”pro-gay candidate when he thought it advanced his interest in Mass and he ran as the opposite when he thought it would help him in the primary. The man has no core principles.
To the headline: bye bye
Goodbye Romney and Good Riddance!!!
Plus he has that whole "magic underpants" thing going for him...
Mitt had his chance to stand up and fight obamacare like Sarah Palin did. He didn’t.
I am not a big fan of Sarah being the nominee either but she deserves credit. She fought and rallied people to fight the healthcare bull#%^&. Mitt sat on his behind when it all passed.
Depends?
bump
Goodbye Romney...
Your buddies the Democrats are waiting...
