I worked as a volunteer in the disorganized campaign of the century. I know a Colonel who was a POW with McC, who spoke on behalf of his friend and his service to the country on many occasions..To my knowledge, noone inside the campaign or the candidate himself thanked him.
The infusion of enthused but young, cocky and clueless RNC staff from DC didn’t help:..and their inexperience and egos resulted in them forgetting to network! It was all about the numbers(phone calls and door knocks). Worst of all, there was little appreciation shown for the grassroots volunteers!! Wanna bet these hard working patriotic Americans will not be supporting Johnny this time around?
I wish that Sarah had remained neutral for now. She was in tears on election night, being told that she couldn’t speak publicly. This was just one of many slights directed at her by the McCain campaign.
