John Spratt is in Sarah Palin's cross-hairs.
The S.C. Democrat is one of 20 congressmen -- and the only one from the Carolinas -- whose seats Palin's SarahPAC is targeting after Sunday's health care vote.
Spratt, of York, has survived 14 terms in a district that's consistently gone Republican in presidential races. Two years ago he got 62 percent of the vote while John McCain was getting 53 percent.
"Were paying particular attention to those House members who voted in favor of Obamacare and represent districts that Senator John McCain and I carried during the 2008 election," Palin wrote on a Facebook page with the 20 seats literally targeted on a U.S. map.
SarahPAC could mean an infusion of money to the campaign of Spratt's only declared GOP challenger, state Rep. Mick Mulvaney. Spratt had a 6-1 financial advantage over Mulvaney at the end of December.
In Sunday's health care vote, Spratt found himself in the spotlight and at the microphone as he managed speaking time for Democrats, and introduced Sspeaker Nancy Pelosi.
According to Rock Hill's Herald newspaper, Mulvaney began circulating an e-mail petition minutes after the House approved the health care bill. He asked 5th District voters to "formally reprimand" Spratt by voting against him in November.

Doesn't work because our district has a black majority and as nationwide,80% to 90% of them will vote for a crap sandwich if a “D” is stamped on it.
Still got dem (pun unintended) plantations down heah dontcha know.
The plantation mentality is alive and well in some parts of SC.
That's 28 years. I reckon that's enough, don't you?

Olde English Nursery Rhyme needs updating. Go for it!
Jack Sprat
Could eat no fat,
His wife could eat no lean;
And so,
Betwixt them both,
They licked the platter clean.
I’m in this Jack Spratt’s district, he eats ONLY fat as in pork barrel fat.
The argument for Spratt seems to be that he “brings home the bacon.” With unemployment in parts of his district at Great Depression levels despite $787 Billion in Stimulus spending that he waved through his Committee, never mind the bacon, where’s the beef?
The voice of his constituents was raised loud and clear at his Town Halls last Fall in opposition to the Health Care Reform bill, yet Spratt voted his Party over his People more than once.
He comes home to South Carolina and speaks like a “Moderate Democrat”, yet he votes like a San Francisco Progressive, supporting their agenda 97.9% of the time.
He has taken money from guys like Charlie Rangel, and even when other Democrats who have done so are so ashamed that they give back the cash, John Spratt refuses to give it up.
Yes sir, I reckon that 28 years is more than enough. It’s time for this hypocrite to spend more time with his family.
Like I suggested - this nursery rhyme needs updating:
Jack Sprat
Ate only fat,
He sucked the people dry;
And so,
We want to send him back,
destroy the old pig’s stye.
I live in spratts district and I sent him many E-mails and made many calls to his rock hill office and all said that if he voted yes I would do everything in my power to get him defeated in this election. I am currently building a billboard in my front yard. Johnny Boy.. Yer outta here
Jack Spratt thought it was phat
to keep constituents lean
health care that he gave to them
will pick their wallets clean
Blacks made up 32% of SC-05 in the 2000 census. The district is actually trending Republican at the local level, to my understanding. I don’t think Spratt will be able to maintain the illusion that he’s an old-style southern Dem after his recent votes.
Neat, I saw where Mulvaney on his website is asking people to put up big signs in their yard. Is it one of those?
I don’t know. I haven’t seen that. I’m doin it cuz I want him out!! Not for Mulvaney
