Just wondering if "resident" can expect trouble if accidental spilling of camomile tea on sacred census form occurs. I really didn't mean to do it. For some reason I just seem to be a little more shakey these days and a noise distracted me. Seems I am a little more anxious as well-too many people knocking on the door lately. Guys wanting to mow the lawn or pick up junk or sell me a better security system. This resident does not like the increased feeling of insecurity and does not want to PO the government.

I accidentally shredded mine.
My note would say,”Sorry about that — my tea spilled on your form.”
Just send it in. That’s not so bad —can’t be worse than sending back mine with cat puke on it.
A chamomile tea stain is worth 4 years in a secret underground Census prison. Just be glad you did not spill catnip tea.
Sorry about that my tea [party] spilled on your form.
My note would say,Sorry about that my tea spilled on your form.
Mine would say “Sorry about that - my dog/cat - .....” and I do not have either
I was going to send an attached apology for the delay and say I have been too busy fighting fascism lately to remember to mail this.
They should be thankful you’re a lady, hence it’s a lovely chamomile tea stain and not tobacco spittle.
I was thinking ours migth need to be in the litterbox for a few days before sending back? I’m not real thrilled with the federal government right now IYKWIM? :)
LOL
No, they’re used to it. Forms get mauled by mistake or deliberately all the time. The Census Bureau doesn’t have hit men.
I believe the post office lost my census form after I filled it out and returned it. (Which the law requires). Talk to them Mr Census person, and no I’m not interested in filling it out twice. Gooday to you.
I rubbed cooked bacon all over mine for the mooselimb handlers!
Yes, I am. You can’t get a Census field job with a criminal record.
If we are to argue that our leaders should follow the Constitution, then so should we.
The census is constitutionally mandated. It’s not something that Congress made up. Good Americans have been willingly counted since the nation began.
Just give the basic information. You’re not doing it for Barry0 or Pelosi/Reid; you are doing it so you will be counted when the House of Representatives is reapportioned next year.
If you aren’t counted, your little drop of representation evaporates.
