The liberal site Firedoglake.com still has Democrats short of what they need to pass the Senate Health Care Bill
They have 204-207, with 10 "Leaning Oppose," and 10 "Unknown." That would mean they would have to get all 10 Unknowns, and peel off at least two "Leaning Oppose."
There may still be hope this thing will fail.

Still think that lefty site is a big rope a dope for the right. I don’t trust Socialists. And ... even if she’s not feeding the right numbers, who’s to say her count is correct anyway? She’s a blogger, not an insider.
The against are actually 207 with Nye’s recent announcement of NO. If you want the full scoop on this go to www.hayride.com
I’m starting to think the holdouts are waiting to jump on the winning team together. That could work for us.
Good, but I think there is some misleading stuff out there, from twitter I read ‘Breaking News From CNN: Clinton2 was called in to help’, but a visit to CNN did not confirm that. There is some bad green beer being sold at 1/2 price this week-end, it may be the source...
Watch Jacksonmartin he just signed up!
I am really disappointed in Fox. They keep saying that 217+ number for “Yea” but that doesn’t line up with other sources.
I am saddened that the year-long debate on health reform has resulted in legislation that is too expensive, contains too many special deals, does not contain health care costs and will result in increases in health insurance premiums and therefore I will vote against the legislation, he said.
Is there really such a thing as a conservative democrat? I claim the term is an oxy-moron.
Nonetheless, I concur with his reasoning, although it is simply the introduction for why the legislation is immoral.
Or the holdouts are really “yea” votes and don’t want to be harassed before the vote.
Heard it was more of an assumption? There believing the votes leaning yes will stay yes.
Yep. I've been saying all day that if the 'bill' is defeated, it will be in the range of 230 "No" votes. There are probably a dozen fence-sitters waiting to see which side gets to 217 first. Once #217 is cast, that dozen will flip to the 'winning' side.
Why don’t any of these people voting against bring up the fact that one really good reason to vote against this monstrosity is because there will be 16,000 new IRS agents monitoring us and waiting to fine us or slap us into jail if we don’t pay for their unconstitutional bill, which, by the way, strips us of our freedom and gives control of our very bodies to the federal government?
Or don’t want to be harassed or knee capped by Nancy.
For your own safety, don't voice your opposition about the newly formed Gestapo.
I have the same concerns as you. This argument, no matter how true it is, does not resonate with a majority of Americans (yet) and those democrats who have not made up their minds on health care reform. Cost, availability of care and impact to the economy are what seems to be driving the debate right now. These clearly are critical. Unfortunately, the average American (independent) has a hard time believing that a government would purposely set up a system to spy on its normal, average, ordinary citizens. Argue that the gov't would do such a thing, and you get called a "kook" and your other valid points get marginalized.
Trying not to get my hopes up, but daring to hope.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The audacity of hope eh?
Hoping certain politicos “change” their votes eh?
Question: If she is not absolutely sure, tomorrow, that she has the votes, will she refuse, again, to ALLOW a vote and drag this thing on and on?
I have never understood how one person could refuse a vote on the simple grounds that they didn't have the votes they wanted to win. That essentially leaves all the power of which votes will pass all the hands of one person.
