Don't ask me how but I actually used coupons to buy a book of $8.80 postage stamps for only $2.68 last Saturday.

How did you do that? (-:

Given Pelosi’s history, I’m gonna laugh at her when she says she has the votes.

This is like the nth time she's made that claim since last Spring...

The only time she was right, she pushed a vote less than a half hour later.

My Congressman posted this on Face Book. Yes he is a conservative, i klnow it is shocking being from NJ and all...

" Yesterday, President Obama said that the time has come to vote on health care. Speaker Pelosi took that message a step further and said that Democrats have the votes to pass health care today - despite the fact that no one in her caucus knows what they will actually be voting on. Most observers know the reality - that today, Democrats don't have the votes to pass their own trillion dollar health care overhaul."

Yeah, and another thread has some congressional immigration group threatening a 'no' vote unless immigration language in the bill is changed or eliminated. That's another 'constituency' making waves. I sincerely doubt she has the votes, but there's also something called the Slaughter Solution that may make a floor vote on the Senate bill moot.

These criminals are disgusting.

I think most of you are looking for my couponing techniques from the wrong end. First figure out what it is you want (in my case a FREE laptop computer) and then work out the solution by going BACKWARDS from that. You will NEVER figure it out by trying to just figure out how to get something like a computer for free by starting out with the coupons. Work the solution BACKWARDS. That’s how I did it. ...And that is how someone else I know did it completely independent of me.

Hey DUmmies and KOmmies,

Keep your laws off my BODY! Oh, wait, you changing your minds now?

And now my usual screed:

When this “health care for all” crap passes, right now the legislation states that it will be illegal to sell private policies over the date of passage. It also says that HSA’s will no longer be allowed. That means that my current policy will no longer be allowed and neither I nor my employer will be allowed to privately purchase an alternative.

I will not accept the “public option” that I will be dictated to join. I will not give the government control over my physical body. I will not pay their fines, I will not surrender to the impending warrant for my arrest. When they knock on my door, I will not answer. When they kick it in, I will make the news.

How’s that for unification, libtards? You loons are currently legislating my death. I will chose the terms and I will bring as many of you along as possible!

Why should you talk about your death?

If it gets to that point, our deaths are NOT something THEY should be worrying about.

Pfft, amateur. I went grocery shopping with my wife a while back and she got over $100 of stuff (including beer and steaks) and after they got done with coupons they owed her $.32.

Don't ask me how she did it. Seriously, don't, I don't know.

That is my point. The only power the government has is the power of a gun. Which is precisely why our wise founders added the RKBA.

When I need a good laugh, I read DU. Even funnier is when I see my friends posts there. He’s been trolling DU for years. He donates a few bucks, flies under the radar and never fails to piss off some of the drones.

DUMMIE FUNNIES Coupons 101

Naw. If it was Coupons 101 he be sharing the "how to" with us, rather than just rubbing our faces in the fact that he finds these great deals and refuses to share the "how to" with us. Whenever I stumble on a great deal, I love to share it with my friends! Not everyone's like that, though. 'Tis their right.

Ruling Kills an Option for Moving Health Bill
By David M. Drucker

The Senate Parliamentarian has ruled that President Barack Obama must sign Congress’ original health care reform bill before the Senate can act on a companion reconciliation package, senior GOP sources said Thursday.

The Senate Parliamentarian’s Office was responding to questions posed by the Republican leadership. The answers were provided verbally, sources said.

House Democratic leaders have been searching for a way to ensure that any move they make to approve the Senate-passed $871 billion health care reform bill is followed by Senate action on a reconciliation package of adjustments to the original bill. One idea is to have the House and Senate act on reconciliation prior to House action on the Senate’s original health care bill.

Information Republicans say they have received from the Senate Parliamentarian’s Office eliminates that option. House Democratic leaders last week began looking at crafting a legislative rule that would allow the House to approve the Senate health care bill, but not forward it to Obama for his signature until the Senate clears the reconciliation package.

Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) moved Thursday to put Senate Republicans on the defensive over health care, sending a letter to Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) in which he dared the GOP to vote against reform.

Reid also defended the Democrats’ use of reconciliation to get a final health care reform bill to the president’s desk, noting that the bulk of health care reform was approved under regular order via the package that cleared the Senate on Christmas Eve. Reid also emphasized that Republicans have used the procedure several times over the years.

However, Reid also promised in the letter that Republicans would have ample opportunity to amend the reconciliation package.

“Reconciliation is designed to deal with budget-related matters, and some have expressed doubt that it could be used for comprehensive health care reform that includes many policies with no budget implications. But the reconciliation bill now under consideration would not be the vehicle for comprehensive reform — that bill already passed outside of reconciliation with 60 votes,” Reid wrote to McConnell.

“Reconciliation will not exclude Republicans from the legislative process. You will continue to have an opportunity to offer amendments and change the shape of the legislation. In addition, at the end of the process, the bill can pass only if it wins a democratic, up-or-down majority vote. If Republicans want to vote against a bill that reduces health care costs, fills the prescription drug ‘donut hole’ for seniors and reduces the deficit, you will have every right to do so,” he said.

Well, if it does pass, with or without the "PO", I eagerly anticipate the DUmmie FUnnies of 2013 after the Republicans repeal it, especially if a certain Alaskan lady is POTUS.

This post submitted via Blackberry because I didn't heed PJ's advice and as of now do not own a FREE laptop.

I've shared LOTS of info. If you had checked out the info I've already provided you would now be saving at least 80% on your food bill. The extreme couponing I do takes it to another level which you could attain by spending time on the coupon forums and studying. So I've done my good deed and am just showing that you can even take it to another level. I know someone who started couponing just 6 months ago and is already doing extreme couponing.

It's called "overage." Study that concept carefully. Verrrrrrry carefully.
