The left has become so absurd in their fear of Sarah Palin that they are now spreading rumors that NBC provided Palin with a laugh track when she did a monologue on the Tonight Show this week. How desperate and ridiculous are the left's latest attacks. So lame that even NBC is defending Palin. Yes, NBC!

NBC had no choice but to debunk the lies that Sarah Palin was a bust at the Tonight Show because such lies wouldn’t jibe with the massive ratings (thanks to Palin) the show received that night.

NBC’s “defense” of SP was based on economics.
