Hawaii Department of Health has conspired against the public for 5 months

DENIED UIPA RESPONSES AFTER DOING INTERNET BACKGROUND CHECKS ON THE POLITICAL VIEWS OF PERSONS MAKING UIPA REQUESTS...

Among the documents which The Post & Email Legal Fund recently acquired with the financial assistance and support of the readers of this e-Newspaper, shocking evidence has been found which apparently indicts officials of the Hawaii Department of Health for conspiracy to deprive U.S. citizens of their constitutional right to due process. The incriminating evidence was found in an inadvertent disclosure of emails between Ms. Janice S. Okubo, Communications Director for the Department, and Kenneth David, Supervisor of the Vital Statistics Office.

It appears that David took it upon himself to do background checks on those making UIPA requests and on that basis suggested to Okubo to deny responding to their lawful requests for the release of government documents, requests which they made on the basis of the grants of rights of access accorded them by the Hawaii Uniform Information Practices Act (UIPA).

Translation:

The way I understand it is the non too bright bozos forgot to delete their communications before replying to the good American citizen.

I am inclined to think the "inadvertent" release was not so inadvertent and there are more revelations to come pending legal counseling. How many other people did DOH do this to and did they also inadvertently get a copy of communications concerning their requests? Think Climategate. Besides hard copies of emails and records on servers, any checks with Google will be discoverable and Google keeps everything. Attempts at destruction will be futile. DOH employees should remember the third rule of crime, first one to break gets less jail time.(first rule don't do it, second don't get caught)

Obama’s citizenship shouldn’t be an issue

I am writing this letter in response to a recent published letter wherein the writer expressed his opinion regarding some of the positions taken by the President. The writer’s last sentence contained the phrase, “acting as if he were legitimate.”

Article II Section 1 Clause 5 of the Constitution states that the President must: be a natural born citizen of the United States; be at least 35 years old; have been a permanent resident in the United States for at least 14 years.

It is a fact that Hawaii is part of the United States of America. Evidence has been provided to confirm Barack Obama was born on Aug. 4, 1961 at Kap’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu. He had been a resident of Chicago, Illinois for at least 14 years.

It is a fact that a majority of American voted for Barack Obama to become the 44th President of the United States. There was no issue of Florida chads, nor was there a Supreme Court ruling as was the case in the last presidential election.

Is the writer referring to the rumor that was being circulated that Obama was not born in Hawaii? If so, is the writer not familiar with the media feeding frenzy that we have recently witnessed regarding the infidelity of John Edwards and Tiger Woods? I am certain that the President’s background was thoroughly vetted by the media and virtually every detail of his life and that of his family has been scrutinized.

Americans are guaranteed the right of freedom of speech as evidenced by the many letters that are published in your newspaper. Senator Patrick Moynihan once stated that, “everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.”

What facts can the writer provide to substantiate his statement that President Obama is not legitimate?
