Today during lunch break during the health care summit, Biden was caught on tape saying this: "It's easy being vice president - you don't do anything." As Bugs Bunny used to say: "What a maroon!" Hear for yourself in this very short clip.

I love it when Biden gets loose from his handlers and says something stupid.

Which is why I think the Vice Presidency was the job that Zero actually wanted when he started his whole Presidential campaign back in 2007. This clown doesn’t like to work and has no concept of what it means.
I imagine he got a little concerned when it looked like he would be the nominee, and have to, you know, do the real job, but the narcissic bolshevik in him took over and the media decided they wanted to be king makers and, well, here we are.
For him it probably is. They only let him out of his box every so often.

He's the backup guy. It's the only serious responsibility most VPs are allowed to have. Of course, Obama followed the common strategy of picking someone that nobody would want to have as President, to discourage impeachment, etc.

Using his more direct and simple-minded vernacular, apparently our current VP Biden concurs with Adams.

Well, he’s basically right. The VP has no real official responsiblities. He’s only there to step in if something happens to the other guy. Cheney was a little more involved as an advisor than most are, but just because he wanted to, and his experience in government is exceptional.
In his case just look natural, dumb and stupid!
