Whenever I post something negative about Ron Paul (which is just about every time I post about him), I get the NASTIEST comments and emails. He doesn't have a lot of supporters but those that do support him do so with a passion. That isn't particularly bothersome, after all people should have some passion. Problem is Ron Paul is a "drooling crazy " type. This guy must have of fallen out the crazy tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Today while he questioned Fed Chair Ben Bernanke Paul turned on his Crazy overdrive and made some absolutely batty allegations about the fed, including accusing them of participating in the Watergate Scandal.

LOL. You know that’s one of my favorites!
LOL! Love that!
I caught the tail end of Paul’s performance today, and frankly he was embarrassing. He did not make a lot of sense and he drew much deserved derision upon himself. I winced while he was talking and he got the response he deserved in my view. If that was truly his best today, then he needs to sit down and STFU.
LOL... That looks so natural.
L Ron Paul makes it so easy :)
LOL. Yes, it does!
The straight jacket suits him.
The fact that people are attracted to Ron Paul because of his adherence to the Constitution, speaks well of our founding document.
The fact that people are attracted to Paul, even with his rabid isolationism and wackadoo foreign policies speaks ill of our ability to field good candidates who strongly uphold our Constitution.
It is all well and good that Ron Paul adheres to the Constitution. Now if we can only tape is mouth shut we’d all be better off.
Roses have fragrance, beauty, --and thorns.
No one is perfect, although all of us would like to see that. However, there are very few people I have met who are completely wrong on everything, and I'm a great-grandfather.
If you disagree with the man rationally, just spell that out. If that gives you writer's cramp, let it be. If you can't see the Alinskyite tactics in all the name calling, you are part of the problem, and the problem is that if enough people call someone "nutcase" long enough, no one will listen when they are right, and the rest of the candidates will avoid agreeing with them to avoid being bunched in with the "nutcase".
There are a lot of candidates out there who get one or two things right and I disagree with on most of the rest. If we discard everything they say with the candidate (which is what the summary dismissal does), we will never get back to our Constitutional Republic, because we will have discarded all of those concepts piecemeal as we vehemently villify the people who espoused them.
It is difficult enough to get a Conservative concept out in the media today without shooting ourselves in the foot and giving the enemedia the line "So-and-so first mentioned this, and even his own party thinks he is a "nutcase"--which gives the Socialists and Liberals the ability to deny the sky is blue if the targeted individual happened to mention it.
