Bigger then Watergate

As I have been saying, it would only be a matter of time till the cesspool of Chicage politics would rear it's ugly head in Washington D.C.

Those that remember Watergate, it was not about a second rate burglary gone bad, but the abuse of power in the attempt to cover it up. Well now Barack Hussein Obama has been implicated in a riminal conspiracy to manipulate the balance of power in an political election.

In a major political scandal orchestrated by the Obama Administration, a popular Democratic congressman from Pennsylvania has revealed that the White House tried bribing him to drop out of the upcoming U.S. Senate race.

Congressman Joe Sestak said in a television news show that the White House offered him a top federal job in an effort to keep him from challenging Senator Arlen Specter in the state’s Democratic primary.

English 101:

“then” is an ordinate adverb. “than” is a comparative conjunction.

Freebies: there is no “a” in the word “definitely”.

Class dismissed.

YEP!! Bribery! Corruption! Treason!! That will not go anywhere.......Old News! Katie Colonic already declared it another “Birther Moment!” We have an Unknown Phantom who’s entire past has been erased, dismembered, Hidden, and Disappeared sitting in the White House trying to destroy AMERICA and All that Our Fathers and Forefathers ought For and Gave their Lives For and the Media treats him like “Their HITLER!” Yet, for George Bush, a Fraudulent Computer generated Note, ostensibly from Thirty Years in the Past was taken as Gospel to try and Destroy a GOD LOVING PATRIOT of AMERICA and a GREAT LEADER!! They could find a 40 year old DUI, but a Birth Certificate isn’t Fair Game today!!!! Shame on the American Journalism Profession today, its No More than a Propaganda Arm of the DNC..... Pathetic! and a so Sad!! Hitler could arise in AMERICA Today! with this Media!! and He just may well be doing just that......:-(

THis is realy no surprise but I doubt anything will come of it. After all, just as only white people can be racist, only Republican politicians can be corrupt.

Kind of makes you wonder what sort of goods they have on Specter that causes them to prefer him, as a recent party turncoat, over an actual Democrat like Sestak.

Watergate happened because there was a coodinated effort by the media and the dimrats in congress go unseat a Repub President.
2010, the media and the dimrats and the guy who plays president on tv are all on the same team. Doubt that there will by any coverage of this and if there is, “Bush’s fault”.

Eh. Offering federal jobs to candidates to keep them out of elections is not only an age-old practice, it's actually legal.

Do I really want to know what "a riminal conspiracy" is? It sounds kind of dirty.

Barney Frank is probably involved in this one.

So Watergate has been upgraded? Ron Ziegler called it a “third-rate burglary.”

Offering someone a federal position to keep them out of elected office does not meet the requirements of the statute. To wit:

...in consideration of the promise of support or use of influence in obtaining for any person any appointive office or place under the United States...

The state of "not being an elected official" does not constitute "promise of support or use of influence."

Basically, you offer Joe Blow the job of Chief Assistant Undersecretary of Agriculture. He can't be CAU of A and a senator at the same time, so if he takes the federal job he won't be a senator. That's what's going on.

Is it ethical? Probably not. Does it constitute bribery under the federal statute? Again, probably not.
