When I attend many conservative functions in my early 20's, I was usually the young "whipper snapper" in the room. Now that I am 39 years of age, one troubling thing that I have noticed is that I am -STILL- the young Whipper Snapper in the room.

I don’t think it was usurped, at least from my vantage point in the exhibit hall. The GOProud booth was there, but wasn’t drawing very much attention.

I don't want any form of special legal rights given to them, but when we start invoking the name of God and how His divine wrath shall be visited upon them, I think we see why the Republicans have had a hard time breaking from the Bible Belt in a significant way. I'm not saying their lifestyle is good, holy, or correct, but we don't need our own Taliban in the form of the Republican Party.
