Congress has intensified its efforts to force flawed, pro-abortion Health Care reform through the system - and now, President Obama, sidestepping the legislative process, says he has his own Health Care bill - a move that raises serious constitutional concerns. The Constitution requires that the legislative branch write our laws, not the President.

“If democrats do anything unconstitutional, dont expect to hear from Mitchie the Kid. Wouldnt be BIPARTISAN!!”
Sometimes I like McConnell, but most Republicans don’t seem to fight hard enough. I heard McConell on Fox News Sunday today calling it a proposal. But it sure sounds like LEGISLATION to me, and to Jay Sekulow.
And get this, I even read on the DU, a title of a thread saying: “Obama Writes Own Health Bill”
I even have a link to that title, but would rather not post it, but if anybody wants it, send me a PM and I’ll send you the link.

Obama Writes Own Health Bill
or his Czars did, if so, it should be a real doozy.
“or his Czars did, if so, it should be a real doozy.”
Yes, more likely his Czars. Obama would rather party.
Ezeil sp.? Emanuel said that it’s more important to save an older child than a two-year old, because there is more invested in the older child. He is SICK!!!!
Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)

Obama says slight fix will extend Social Security

TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollees cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.)

Congress plans to block Tricare fee increases

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.
Snip
The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.
President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees in fiscal 2010, Matz said. We took them at their word, and I cant believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward, he added.
Bambi doesn't keep his promises...so buyer beware.
the whole concept of mandatory health care is unconstitutional to begin with.
If it does pass, it will have to be challenged.
“the whole concept of mandatory health care is unconstitutional to begin with.
If it does pass, it will have to be challenged.”
IF it passes, I hope SCOTUS does the right thing.
Great info in your post. I hope everyone reads it and passes it along to their friends.
Someone suggested they go, but if Obama doesn’t allow them to give their side, they should all get up and walk out.
“”They are not to do anything they please to provide for the general welfare.... “
Bingo!
btw, did you get that from the Federalist papers?
it was just a quote I got regarding the subject matter. I believe it did come from the federalist papers, but am not 100% certain.
If you can’t find where the quote came from and really want to know, I will find the exact source.
That’s OK, it’s a great quote regardless of where it came from. I will pass it along to others.
More from aclj:
“There are constitutional concerns about permitting the Executive Branch to absorb the legislative responsibilities of the Legislative Branch.
Clearly, the Executive Branch is expected to express opinions on legislative matters. And it should. However, when it comes to debate and drafting legislation, the Constitution is quite clear that it is Congress - and Congress alone - that has that authority.
During the health care debate, the legislative process failed to produce a final bill that could be approved by both chambers of Congress. Therefore, the President has stepped in and produced a final bill. In our view, that move directly sidesteps the Constitution and represents a glaring overreach of his authority. His bill does something else, too - it disenfranchises millions of Americans who are being denied the right to have their elected members of Congress involved in this final debate.”
