If I was a homosexual I would try to justify my sinful lifestyle by claiming the same thing. Very ridiculous but not surprising. Homosexuals are “captives” to their own sin.
I know it is tough but we need to pray for Elton John that he turns away from his sinful lifestyle and turns to the “real” Jesus.
Anything to excuse his own sick demented behavior.
Elton John should be reminded of the statement, “Lord, Liar, or Lunatic, which one is it?”

Someone needs to reeducate the man about Christ, the Bible and Marriage. Marriage in the Bible is core to the philosophy. It is between one woman and one man. The values the Bible speaks of are the rudimentary glue for the continuity and success of the family and the religion. It is the Bible which gave mankind many things,including love and the ability to elevate themselves from creatures of the field. The values from the Bible is what gave us the advancements through choice in freedom, liberty , rights and democracy.
Choice, is what allows Elton to make such an ass of himself.
Had he demonstrated any knowledge in his confusion, it would have allowed him to voice that opinion of Mohammed and his followers. Not Christ.
Christ told us that we would be persecuted for his namesake. It is our cross to bear and our reward is in Heaven.
So Elton John thinks Jesus was thuper, don’t know why this was news.

He wasn’t a “gay man”. He wasn’t a “compassionate man”. He wasn’t a “super intelligent man”.
He was the Son of God.
At least he is trying to understand who Jesus is. This is the first step toward salvation.
