Why did Beck say that "birthers" are as dangerous as Timothy McVeigh and that only Democrats and Republican are normal but those who aren't associating themselves with Democrats and Republicans are dangerous? Up until today, he was portraying himself as someone that thought those people were the problem.
If that is accurate he might have been off his meds.
if they try and start a 3rd party they are the problem!
watching now..Beck seems off a bit
At least he mentioned that a democrat
started the birther question
Beck is right. The Birther crowd needs to shut down and shut up.
He jumped the shark a while ago.
Your authority for this demand comes, of course, from your government position as... anything from dogcatcher to Supreme Court Justice... for which you had to produce a birth certificate...
He’s lumping the “birthers” in with the “truthers”.
I’m inclined to cut him some slack, and let him choose which battles he wants to fight, and I don’t demand that any of my allies agree with me a hundred percent.
But his attacks on “birthers” is starting to irritate me a bit. There is a big differnce between asking to see O’s documentation, all of which he has made off limits, versus claiming that Bush and the Mossad committed mass murder.
I’m not accusing O of anything. Just that he stop embargoing his entire paper trail. You’d think someone in the press might find his determination to keep his past sealed and hidden away, just a bit interesting.
OK, Glenn, you don’t want to fight that battle. Fine. You pick your battles and you have my compliments. But the attacks on people who want to see the paper trail is starting to wear thin.
Nah, people are free to do what they think is necessary. This sounds like a direct attack on independents and many will take it that way.
If the GOP doesn’t go back to being conservative then people have every right to leave it and form their own organization.
I would prefer that conservatives take over the party from the ground up. To create their own heirarchy, their own funding mechanisms and their own support/endorsement structure within the GOP. A party within a party.
But if the GOP continues to fight against conservatives, all bets will be off.
We are NOT going to be forced to pretend that statist A and statist B are real choices. If we have to get a Hoffman on the ballot in 50 districts then we should do it. We should never allow anyone to dictate to us who and how and what we should support or vote for.
You may be right. But you are fighting a battle that can easily be hung up in court for several years past an Obama prsidency.
This is a waste of resources and waste of time.
The best you can do is get some state legislators to pass something that requires vault certification to be shown for the 2012 race.
outside of that, you are all wasting your lives on this.
Beck is just ONE opinion out of many. And why should his have any more weight than anyone elses? He and his new butt-buddy O’Reilly ought to shut down and shut up.
I have a hard time trusting anyone who thinks Joseph Smith was a prophet.
That Beck has cozied up to O’Reilly bothers me much more than him slamming Birthers.
However, I’m sure he has many disagreements with Bill and I don’t think he would be afraid to express them.
Beck has to want O’Reilly’s cozy time-slot. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer?
>>> you are all wasting your lives on this.
If something as simple in the constitution as POTUS eligibility cannot be enforced, then NONE of it can be.
Wasting lives??? Tell that to all the people who gave up theirs defending that little piece of paper.
i will never vote for a democrat or third party but will withold my vote for a moderate or liberal.
conservatives that register independant are killing themselves and the Republican party.
They are the ones that allow the liberals and moderates to win the primaries.
Didn’t I hear that a Saudi prince now owns a percentage of NewsCorp and all staff have been told to paint the birthers as kooks or worse?
Glenn Beck seemed frantic today. I watched about ten minutes and shut it off.
He also seemed very, very afraid.
Watching him right now on his late night replay, he is talking about how he thinks debt is okay. Well, if Beck fails I’d hope that the people who lent him the money would lose and not the American people. I don’t know why the guest didn’t correct him on that. Why would Beck want to conflate national debt that is against the nation’s will and personal debt where some bank took a chance on lending Beck money for his mansion and multiple cars that he’s bragging about?
Silly little framers of the Constitution for putting that requirement in. Guess they should have also set a cap on how many mi$$ions a President could spend hiding the actual document.
