"This is being touted all over the web as Mr. Stacks Last statement". It Reads:
If youre reading this, youre no doubt asking yourself, Why did this have to happen? The simple truth is that it is complicated and has been coming for a long time. The writing process, started many months ago, was intended to be therapy in the face of the looming realization that there isnt enough therapy in the world that can fix what is really broken.

Seems the IRS pushed him over the edge.
Who knew they infuriated communists as much as the rest of us?

He couldn't be a "tea bagger." He reportedly had a wife.
He was definitely not a Tea Partier!
To: trapman
wow.
definitely the rant of person who has had his fill and has gone over the edge.
sympathy to his wife and any children and/or step-children.

Some "jerk" over on Facebook is "embracing" the death of this guy in the name of Liberty
LINK Its all over Twitter, Retweeting that the teabaggers are embracing his death as a martyr. The guy's suicide note said he was a "bush hater" and some guy with a Gadsden flag on his site is embracing him? I nailed the guy at Facebook, wish people would FREEP him just for being stupid and giving the rest of the movement a bad name. This is the kind of mistake the lefties love.
Submitted IMHO

We are taking care of it for the commies at CNN. Freepers are ignoring the communist slogan at the end and smearing Ron Paul with the guy. That Rino pup tent is sooooo cozy.

His writing has more I’s and me’s and envious rants than an Obama speech. He is definitely narcissistic and leftist. That 15 minutes of fame is so addictive that some people get ensnared just thinking about it. Satan won this soul.

I am going to take a wild guess here and attribute some of his craziness/agression to the dot.com culture in Austin.
It was one of those austin dot.com buccaneers who shot all the buffalo out in colorado a while ago — buffalo that had come over onto his land through a broken face I believe.
And I know a couple of guys in that hothouse atmosphere. There’s a kind of ‘angry’ culture there, a kind of poseur macho thing, very leftist.

I actually feel sorry for the guy. He clearly lost his marbles and went over the edge. I don't agree with his final choice and wish he had reached out for help and found some way to cope with all his problems.
I don't want to change the subject, but I do whole-heartedly agree with his overall sentiment that the IRS/Tax law is broken. It struck a chord with me when he remarked about how you are required to sign your tax return and what that signature entails.
It made me think that when you do that, you are taking a yearly gamble that you won't run afoul of the tax law by making an innocent mistake that gets the attention of an IRS agent who is having a bad day and decides to run rough-shod over you to the fullest extent of their authority. Even if the matter is ultimately decided in your favor, how much hell will you have gone through? How much money would you have paid to CPAs/lawyers to represent you?
I don't mind paying my share - and I have paid a *ton* in my time - but the whole shebang needs to be changed. I don't care if its Fair Tax or Sales Tax or whatever; anything has to be better than what we are doing now.

Joe Stack suffered from a catastrophe of faith.
His writings tell us that his faith in government collapsed. So he was a progressive.
A hard core statist who in the end discovered the fraud of statism.
The inevitable result of a faith which worships the false god of state.

The local moonbat community here in Austin has already tried to label this moonbat extraordinaire a teabagger.
