A new report indicates that the main suspect in the University of Alabama-Huntsville shooting is a 'far-left political extremist who is obsessed with Barack Obama,' according to family sources as quoted in the Boston Herald.
The emerging profile of the Alabama professor who allegedly shot six of her colleagues reveals that Dr. Amy Bishop, a Harvard educated neurobiologist, engaged in behavior that others considered to be 'oddball' and 'awkwardly introverted' in her relationships with colleagues, friends, and family.
A more curious fact, however, is that Bishop does not fit the common profile submitted by the mainstream media when describing disturbed individuals who go on shooting sprees.

Interesting theory, and food for thought. I had always imagined it was the other way around - these ideologies are both adept at creating sociopaths. Indoctrination has a way of doing that (not to mention inbreeding in the case of Islam).
But I guess it's 50% the other way too. Sociopaths leave e.g. Christianity because it opposes one or more of their cherished beliefs, and they seek out an ideology which agrees with them completely.
Do you think that Janet will now switch policy to investigate leftists?? Nah. She’ll probably double up her investigations of conservatives, because it had to be their fault.
Ed Shultz, Kieth Olberman and Rachel Maddow are clearly to blame here.
They have hour upon hour of left wing hate speech five days a week during prime time television. Their words drive those who agree with them into such a frenzy that violent action like this are a clear result. There can be no other explanation. /obvious analogy
WHAT! I am stunned..can’t be. According to Janet Napalitano, we should be worried about right wingers, then we find out this murderer is a leftist nutjob obsessed with her messiah Obama..I am stunned..simply stunned
I’ve been convinced for years that the reason they join these lunatic, self-destructive movements is because they deeply hate themselves.
She wasn’t a far left extremist obsessed with Obama when she killed her brother and was given a pass for that murder.
Actually there is a Democrat you can blame here.

I guaran-freakin-tee you she posted on DU or KOS
I am still amking a bet that the media will report her as being a crazed right wing racist “teabagger”.
People have forgotten about Lee Harvey Oswald. JFK got shot by a commie, a fact most conveniently ignore, and the left makes JFK as a martyr against “right wing haters”. Trouble is, I can see that repeating.
This one is all democrat.
Yes, I would think that self hatred is part of the psychopathic personality.
Emo Phillips lol. You hit that nail right on the head.
My 80’s roots are showing.
I wonder if she’ll be charged with hate-crimes since the victims were all “people of color”.
Actually from the looks of things she planned the murders methodically. It looks like the death penality all the way. Not only did she kill her brother but she tried to kill another professor with a pipe bomb at a previous college.
She needs killing. Before she kills again.
I agree.
She clearly planned the murders in Alabama. She intentionally purchased and brought an unregistered gun on campus, and according to someone who survived the incident, she shot the people at the conference table one right after the other.
She’s going down. Alabama isn’t Massachusetts!
Nice observation, WPTG! I never heard of the banana until now.
Amy Bishop, the biology professor who shot six of her colleagues,
killing three of them, is a paranoid, angry woman who hates kids
and was obsessed with a researcher who ended up in a dead-end job.

"The day of the shooting, [Amy] Bishop taught her anatomy and neurosciences class and then attended a faculty meeting in the third floor of the Shelby Center for Science and Technology."
That one got a laugh out of me.
But the connection both apparently have to neurology is weird, isn’t it? Is, or was, “Emo” in the field as well? I saw that he (he?) is a comedian, but does ‘he’ also have a background in the neurological sciences?
It is also being reported that Bishop was “looked at” when a double-pipe bomb showed up some professor’s house in Newton, MA.
I think she has a problem with rejection.
