“Personally, Id like to see some new blood running Texas.”
So would I but is it wrong to make sure that that person is not out of their alleged mind?
A beanball?? What a freaking whiner.
He asked her if she thought the government orchestrated the 911 attacks. That's called a meatball, right down the middle of the plate. Anybody who isn't an idiot should be able to knock that one right out of the stadium with a single word response.
The question, and Medina’s qualifying, backpedaling answer still stands as exposing the “truther” aspect. Perry and Hutchison are a battle of “pals of the elite” and do not properly address illegals, but a potential governor, who needs the help of ICE and Border would have a difficult time in communication alone, if they believe the Feds were behind 9/11. Her answer did not elucidate, and is a test of ability to think on her feet. The later “statement” was made out of damage control- not a real answer. Libertarians as conservatives are valid partners-but not as foolish truthers. The truthers were started by Hillary’s people, remember? There is certainly no conservatism there. While we’re on the subject, who was behind the bombinf of the Murrah federal building Hillary? Ask Bill who blamed talk radio. The Democratic/Perot politics in Texas are yet another part of the mosaic of individualists. Would that Medina was a Tancredo conservative.
>> Lets say an answer was given I didnt like. Would that alone disqualify me from holding public office?
Depends on the question to which the wrong answer was given ... if it was the 9/11-inside-job question ... then yes.
New blood in Texas is less important than keeping the certifiably wacko out of office altogether. Beck did Texas, the GOP and the Tea Party movement a great service.
SnakeDoc
Whatever Bob things of Beck (and I’m not Beck’s biggest fan), Medina shot her foot off. She even took careful aim doing so. F her. Bob is okay but he is way off base on this one.
It wasn’t a sucker punch. Glenn thought it was a throwaway question and asked it because he kept getting emails about it and expected Medina to laugh it off and just say “no”.
Medina though...she’s the one that stepped in it with her fence sitting response.
What a loon! This is not Glenn’s fault. He had received numerous emails prior to the interview indicating that Medina was or might be a truther. So he asked a question! If she was not a truther, it was a softball question. But it was her answer that confirmed the suspicions! That is her fault, not Glenn’s.
Boy, a lot of Crack Pots are upset about that interview!
Well. it could be said that when he sprung the trap, she couldn’t know, if she said NO, I don’t believe any of that garbage, that he wouldn’t have thrown 10 reasons for doubt at her. I HAvE been wondering why people like Beck and Dan Patrick, who I admire, have been bashing her so hard.
republicans on the other hand splinter all over the place and turn of each other quickly.
Sarah met Perry at the Governors meetings while she was Governor. She is supporting the Conservatives and Republicans and ‘new blood’ where she believes in it. She owes McCain and does agree with his defense dept. stance, which is vital. National security is in need of being strengthened. .
Good for Sarah Palin.
BTW, Van Jones looks like a black Steve Jobs.
Is the person who wrote this even a Texan? I think not. We don't care what people from other states/countries want to see.
We don't have a problem with "new blood." We just don't want a moonbat "running" Texas. (In reality, Texans run Texas.)
Amazing how a candidate can expose kookery in her mind (she spoke the words, Glenn put nothing in her smarmy mouth), on air, enough to make it plain as day that she is unfit to govern a hen house much less a state like the great State of Texas, and worms crawl out to tell us common folk that ‘it doesn’t matter what the politician believes, imagine they will be better than what we see before us’ ... don’t trust your ears, swallow the koolaid!
Bob who?
