Lets say I had a television show and I asked a political candidate some questions regarding, lets say, about the other entrenched lifer candidates, local issues, state and federal issues, the Constitution, and then asked if he or she believed Babe Ruth was really black or if Barack Obama was really a United States citizen or if there was a 9/11 conspiracy.
Lets say an answer was given I didnt like. Would that alone disqualify me from holding public office?
I will admit, I did like some of the things Becks said over the last year on Fox News and previous years on radio, but he may have just shown us just how full of himself he really is.
Personally, Id like to see some new blood running Texas. Rick Perry straddled the bonehead fence when he started talking about secession, Kay Bailey Hutchinson appears to feel shes entitled to the governorship after many flaky years in the US Senate.
And while were at it, lets talk conspiracy.
Sarah Palin is now a Beck compadre at Fox News. Sarah Palin endorsed Rick Perry. Debra Medina was surging in the polls. Beck throws a beanball at Medina in an attempt to knock her out of the race. How ironic it would be that liberals could use a Glenn Beck audio clip to take out a Republican.
Ive already made my views (then doubts) about Beck known when I saw him pandering to black Republicans on a weekend show, complete with jungle-looking graphics, trying to come off as a potential savior who understands. Ive never bought his crying like a pussy, and Ive rejected every attempt hes made to make himself a 9/12, tea party grand poohbah.

Do YOU think no cops were killed in the Towers that day???
How about Jews?
What other ideas are going on in your head?
I’m sorry, you just can’t sit on the fence on this one. If you are not prepared to say “NO!” Then doubt must exist. One cannot ignore this
Beck didn't say that.
Her follow up was anything but fence sitting. It was definitive. Except to the Charlie Perry panty sniffers
Go back and do your own research on what I think, sally.
You mean, her respons hours later......to late, much to late
I’m calling her a loon. And I don’t think much better of you so far.
For you, it is. Let’s see if Texas agrees.
Also wanting to know about “how” the buildings came down. Is she pulling a Rosie O’Donnell?
Boy, a lot of Crack Pots are upset about that interview!
Bob Parks and CFP are crackpots?
You don’t need anyone’s permission to vote for her. I would expect no less from you.
Honestly, she turned me off before she even stepped off the cliff.
Glenn asked a simple question: “Who are you?” and she started reading some nonsensical rubbish. When she finished, Beck had to ask her again, and she started reading the same crap.
Let’s be fair here. There were many reasons why I have written her off. We all know what happened last time we put a “No One” in a position of power, don’t we.
I don’t live in Texas. I just don’t support RINOs anywhere.
I remember that there was a 4 times the normal shorting of American Airlines the day before. Have you ever heard who was shorting? Nope & you never will.
Okay, here’s the issue facing Texans:
1) You have a woman who backpedals on a pretty clear question. She’s got truther support and doesn’t want to scare it off, so she waffles on TV—then, on top of that, asks truther questions in front of the media after issuing an about-face press release after the tv debacle. Other than that—unquestionably, a big THAT—she talks like a libertarian conservative and has a decent resume for a citizen representative.
2) You have a governor who’s a former Democrat and shows nothing but a lust for power. The man has grown Texas government, tried to grab land with TTC, tried to force untested vaccines on half the kids in the state, and has not one whit of conservative resume other than blabbing about secession at a Tea Party meeting. Oh, and lately, he’s told Obama to shove his federal funds up his...budget.
3) You have a senator who, if anything, is a whore. She’s a Bush favorite who’d take a nickel to sell out what she claims are ‘common sense conservative principles,’ and has. Repeatedly. She’s not pro-life—maybe she’s not pro-choice, exactly, but she’s not pro-life—and she’s no taxpayer’s friend.
I don’t like any of these choices. But given what we know of Hutchinperry, I’ll take the noob Medina and her loony truther $#@!$@#! over incumbent power-grabbers every time. At least the good ol’ boys in the Capitol will be scared of her, and given the sellout nature of that crowd, I’d love to see some of those state legislator Rinos running scared. When they go over to see Perry or Hutchinson, all they’re afraid of is that the bribes might be in large bills instead of 20s.
Who is the bigger Rino? Kate Bailey or Perry?
I really wanted a no nonsense conservative, and in all of Texas we cannot even find one
I do not forget that FBI pursuit of the mysterious man of black hair and swarthy complexion, who had been seen accompanying McVeigh at the Ryder truck rental office and walking away from the Murrah building with McVeigh after the bomb-laden truck had been parked, was abruptly terminated after about two days, whereupon suspicion was cast upon citizen militias in a flurry of Clinton-directed propaganda. Who was that man? Obviously he was not imaginary. “The Third Terrorist, a book authored by Jayna Davis, is not fictional.
Isn’t that what she said in her announcements later? Along with the clarification that she believes people have a right to question their government?
The 9-11 Commission was a sad, sad joke. The gal who should have been answering questions - Jamie Gorelick - was sitting on the panel! And the result was that the panel REFUSED to seriously look at why actionable intelligence from Able Danger was thrown away.
Because Judicial Watch was finally able to win their FOIA suit we know why the information on the Brooklyn-based AQ cell headed by Mohammad Atta was destroyed, even though the people being referred to other intelligence groups were not citizens and therefore didn’t qualify for “Gorelick wall” treatment.
We know the information was destroyed because Secretary of DEfense wanted to discredit Able Danger’s work - since they also pointed out suspicious connections between William Perry’s own company, a Chinese front company, and contacts at Sanford University. It turns out that William Perry ABSOLUTELY knew he was selling forbidden military satellite technology to the Chinese government via a front company owned by the Chinese commander’s wife - because a contact at Sanford University expressly said he was matching the two companies for the purpose of the illegal sale.
Congress’ Cox Report had brought attention to the leaks by the Clinton Administration to Chinese front companies and Congress was pushing hard for a formal investigation by the DOJ. Janet Reno said no, and that was that.
William Perry got rid of the information about Mohammad Atta because he was covering his own a$$.
Now - should I call that “government involvement in 9-11”? Should I call it government involvement when I know that the 9-11 Commission had at least one thug on it who was covering up the illegal activity of our Secretary of Defense?
I believe that Islamic terrorists carried out 9-11. I also believe that the US government is full of crooks and that people in the government have been playing fast and loose with US security in order to do CYA for the crooks in government.
We see the same thing with Nidal Hassan, CAIR, the NPP voter intimidation thugs, etc ad nauseum.
How would I respond to a question about the government’s involvement in 9-11? I’m not sure. And I absolutely believe that the event was planned and carried out by Islamic terrorists. Just like I believe the Christmas Day bomber was an Islamic terrorist but still have big questions about who in our government knew what when and why they did what they did in not seeing it prevented.
I think we do everybody - and the truth - a disservice if we have a litmus test and throw out as crazy anybody who doesn’t totally swallow our corrupt government’s official line. At this point I think a person is crazy if they DO authomatically accept everything we’re fed.
The IPCC e-mails are another example that by laughing off “conspiracy theorists” we enable real conspiracies which could bankrupt this nation if unchecked.
