Time Magazine: The Brilliance of Sarah Palin
Citizen Palin 4 President ^

Posted on 02/11/2010 4:52:56 PM PST by MaxCUA

"How's that hopey-changey stuff workin' out for ya?" Sarah Palin asked the anti-élitist Tea Party élites — those who could pay $549 for a ticket (liberal lies -tickets were acctually $349 to see Palin) gathered in suffocating self-righteousness at the Opryland Hotel on the first weekend of February. It was classic Palin, a brilliant line, brilliantly delivered: she does folksy far better than George W. Bush or any of the other Republican focus-group populists ever did. It was the signature line of her speech, which rocked the joint — and then, slowly, began to rock the national political community. The speech was inspired drivel, a series of distortions and oversimplifications, totally bereft of nourishing policy proposals — the sort of thing calculated, carefully calculated, to drive lamestream media types like me frothing to their keyboards. Palin is a big fat target, eminently available for derision. But I will not deride. Because brilliance must be respected, especially when it involves marketing in an era when image almost always passes for substance.

Wow....He could have just said, “I hate Sarah Palin.” It would have been a lot easier to read, and would have seemed a little less biased. ;)

The leftist lamestream press should know; it worked for Obama.

I got an error when I clicked the link to go to the original page. I’m sure it’s either an ugly woman liberal (sorry for the redundancy) or a troll of a man liberal.

Why is it that Sarah Palin is expected to lay out these bold policy proposals...now. She’s not a candidate for anything and it would be foolish of her to fall for the trap of big bold proposals now only to have them parsed and distorted into something unrecognizable from the original proposal. And then be flogged with the distortions for years to come.

Better for her to hone her skills, make criticisms of Obonehead, and get a better feel for the mood of the public.

When Obonehead announced he was a candidate for pres—ent he didn’t say squat about policy propsals up to inauguration day.

Here’s the current link to Joe Klein’s excuse for an article:

A lot of these magazines have all their content in a database and generate URL’s on the fly.
