As Michelle Malkin mentioned earlier this afternoon, a Columbia University alumn sent her a tip that former green jobs czar Van Jones will be speaking at the Columbias Business School (CBS) this coming Monday, Feb. 15:

According to Anna Berger, a program & event coordinator at Columbias Business School, the event is cosponsored by two student groups, the CBS Green Business Club and CBS Energy Club, as part of their 2010 Clean Tech Month. The event will be closed to the media, said Berger. Another staff member, Sandra Navalli, said that Jones had asked that the event be held off the record with no media and no recordings.
Navalli, the Associate Director of the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics, said that, as a matter of policy, the school does not provide honorariums. Michelle Malkin linked to the registration survey; it has since been closed....

What in the world would Van Jones know about business, except how to destroy one?
That’s the point.
“Send your kid to Columbia, where we will teach him how to destroy your family business” isn’t much of a recruiting slogan.
So, if I am a CBS student and cannot make it to the neeting that presumably has been funded by my tuition and fee $$ I do not get to see a recording? What type of Mickey Mouse operation is this?
Maybe Van can find the usurper’s enrollment there.

Family business? This is the Business School, where Wall Street Executive wannabees go.
