I have been working out at a LA Fitness in the area noticed the other day that MSNBC and CNN has replaced Fox New.
I spoke with management they said that the corporate headquarters now directly control whats broadcast as the boxes were pulled from the gym.
He specifically asked corporate heads for one TV to air Fox his request was denied.
Every other channel are the same except for Fox News which was on 4 tv's being replaced by MSNBC and CNN.
Is this the future of America?
I have found one story back in 2009 that speaks to the same censorship of FOX.
Maybe its a gradually strategy? If anyone is having the same issue with this gym let me know.
I have been trying to get through to their upper management for comment.
If your interested here is LA Fitness headquarters on this topic below is the number.

“Its not my cable operator its the gyms satellite not cable?”
I was just giving another example where companies make bad business decisions based on bias.
Are you a member of LAF?
Okedoke
When I went to LA Fitness, they only had 1 tv with Fox News and you couldn't see it if there was no machine available near it. Also, I would have to bring a small radio and tune to that channel to even hear it. ot a good set up.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Same with my gym......
If it was an issue then I would complain and if they ignored my complaint then I would cancel my membershp..........
LOL no but I will find one soon.
I never had a problem Fox news was on 4 tv’s and local gym management was forced to change.
Interesting that last week I did see 2 people that worked for Organizing for America in the gym with their uniforms wonder if that influenced them.
“Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!”
Too lazy to walk, too scared to jump! Air Assault, Hooah!?
Reminds me of a job I used to work at years ago.
They had a “community” radio and the employees that worked in the shop would take turns choosing what station to listen to. You had to be there 6 months before you could choose (union shop with idiotic rules). Usually the choices were country or rap, with lots of hard feelings going on either way.
When I got my 6 months in and got to select the station I turned on Rush. That lasted about 15 minutes and then the leadman (actually a leadgal) came out and turned it. “There’s been too many complaints” she said.
“You didn’t hear me complain when they were playing their crap” I replied.
“Tough”. “Choose something else of forfeit your turn”.
So I spent ten minutes scrolling through the stations at full volume until I found a station playing East Indian music. I left it there (at full volume) and went back to work.
They never let me choose the station again...
Yes
Other than that, I caught all my air in a Bradley, at 40 mph on those Ft. Hood Tank trails...yeeehaw! I'll drink a cold one in honor of you and your wings, bro.

The ground pounders are our “Raison d’être”, and forgive my French, brother.
You can reach their member services by calling 949-255-7200 and either hit option 3 > 3 or 0 for the operator.
They are able to change the channels but have so far been unwilling to do so. I’ve received 4 different stories as to why they feel that CNN and MSNBC should be your only choices for news and this morning the front-desk receptionist said that they’ve had a LOT of complaints and that she was instructed to “just tell them we’re working on it, but really we’re not”
Their cable TV provider is supposedly a company named “RMG XYZ Inc. Satellite TV Services” (according to the person who answered the phone at member services). I’m unable to find any information about this company on the Internet, has anyone else had any luck? It’s difficult to believe that a company as large as LA Fitness would use a nationwide provider that doesn’t seem to exist under any google search...
Normally I would agree with you. But they dont watch TV. The members do. And the members pay a lot of money and should have a say in the TV programming.
Yep, that's the way it should be in America. Just as you have a choice as which fitness centers to go to. I would choose not to go to one that shows only CNN/PMSNBC and not Fox.
At my Gold’s , we have individual TVs on our equipment to choose whatever we want to watch.
They must hate my husband and me. We're at the gym every day except Sunday “clogging” up the machines, and we take a pilates and/or yoga class every day too.
