Hi Mom.
Thats what Sarah Palin wrote on her hand today, technically, before speaking at a campaign rally for Rick Perry in Texas.
Hi Mom can also be loosely translated as F-U, Lefties.
Heres what Sarah Palin did today, and why its not only brilliant, but its the chief reason this woman will be our 45th President.
She hit the Left back, in a subtle way that drives them crazy. THAT, friends, is quite an art form. We respect everyone alive who practices this sort of Fu.
Palin knew the Left, particularly the Huffington Post, has been trying to create an issue of several words Palin wrote on her hand before the Tea Party Convention speech yesterday: Energy, Taxes, American Spirit.
We do this too, FYI, whenever we have to do any public speaking, since we dont usually take notecards with us or have a podium in front of us. We just write down a few key words, on our palm, so that we cover the three or four things we really wanted to talk about lest we miss one of them. Unlike the current president, we dont have a TelePrompTer traveling with us everywhere we go. Neither does Palin.
We hope Palin makes the Hi Mom thing a regular inside-joke.
The Huffalumps tried to make an issue of her palm-notes and obsessed over staring at pictures of them yesterday so Palin sent them a message today, letting them know shes aware they are scrutinizing her palms so she might as well send her Mom a message.
Those of you who met Mrs. Heath on Palins book tour have told us shes a VERY nice woman (Mr. Heath too) so we say Hi Sarahs Mom today too.
Palin is quick with responses to the lunatics on the Left, which is remarkable. She gets in front of a story before it becomes an issue. She hits back hard when needed, but can use more subtle smacks when those are more appropriate.
We think she effectively disarmed this issue, in a humorous, fun way thats relatable to average Americans.
Her ninja throwing star Facebook dispatches are well-crafted and deadly to her opponents.
Today, she proved her more subtle hits can be just as effective.
This woman has all the skills she needs to become President in two years.
All thats missing is her ground team of which we, and hopefully YOU, will surely be a part.
Go, Sarah, Go!
She is Blessed......the Lord is with her and it’s a good thing.....
Hi Mom.....too cool...
I think if Sarah becomes President, she wo’t object to Texas seceding from the Union. But wih Sarah as President, Texas won’t want to secede.
Mrs. Stone is my sister (seriously).
Like I said before, I hope you feel better.
Reagan did this kind of stuff all the time. His one-liners to idiot libs were classic. Like when some hippie at a CA university while he was Gov screamed to him “we are the future” and he quipped back (so the press could hear), “well, better call my broker”.
Superb.
My wife is as conservative as me but doesn’t care for the constant watching of politics like I do. No talk radio, no watching the opinion shows on cable, no reading, discussing, etc.
But she told me that if Sarah Palin runs in 2012 that she will volunteer, give money, and whatever else she can do.
And she’s very serious about the use of her time.
Can’t say much for Arlington. Traffic is a nightmare, especially with the Cowbows Stadium here now. Lots of ongoing constructin on I-30. And no fast ways to get from I-30 to I-20. But a smaller nightmare than SA. I hate driving around there.
I live nearby to Arlinton in Fort Worth. Moved here a couple years ago with no regrets! Bugs are really not an issue. And I’ve traded a couple months of heat for having to shovel snow.
Fort worth really is a nice area!
Traffic, yuk.
I live way south of Arlington, about 2 hours SE of SA, in a small town close to the coast. We don’t have traffic. :)
Have family and friends all around DFW area that deal with it without much problem. 80 year old aunt and uncle that live in Plano deal with it just fine.
I’ll stay down here and just go visit every once in a while. :)
LOL!
Wicked.....;]
P.S. Try and make it to that bar in Houston where The Battlefield Band will be playing sometime around St Patrick's Day.
Jer 31:22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
