BREAKING! Obama to Switch Parties to Save Democrat Majority!
Secret | February 6, 2010 | Not Applicable

Posted on 02/06/2010 6:13:25 PM PST by parsifal

I have learned from my secret, and usually reliable, sources that the nefarious Rahm Emanuel has devised a sinister contingency plan to save the Democrat majority in both houses of Congress. The plan is named “Operation Albatross.” If the economy has not significantly improved within 30 days of the upcoming elections, and the polls continue to foreshadow massive loss of seats by the Democrats, President Obama plans to switch parties and become a Republican. It is thought that the high negative ratings Obama brings to the table will then work to insure a massive Republican defeat.

Part of this plot has already been put into action. Obama’s statement that “he is not an idealogue” was floated at the recent GOP retreat and was received by the media with little attention . Similarly, Obama has come forth with a budget “freeze” for many federal departments and programs, a typically Republican approach. Obama plans to make more "feints" to the center right politically. If necessary, Emanuel plans to have Obama actively campaign and endorse Republican candidates, such an endorsement sure to spell certain defeat for the candidates.

As detailed by my source, Emanuel revealed the plan at a senior Democrat strategy meeting in January following the unexpected election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts. Quoting now from my source, “Rahm told us this was the only way to keep the Republicans from recapturing a majority in the senate. He said as a practical matter, there would be little impact on the actual day to day running of the government. The President would be under no legal requirement to change the members of the cabinet, or make any other changes. Joe Biden would continue to vote as a Democrat should any deadlocks develop in the Senate.”

Emanuel went on to explain that the GOP could not make any legal objection to the change of party affiliation. When asked about individual Republican candidates refusing to permit Obama to campaign on their behalf, he reportedly said, “ Who gives a damn what they want! We have Air Force One and the President can go anywhere he damn well wants. F*ck ‘em! We'll make 'em an offer they can't refuse. It’s time to go to the mattresses! We’ll show up on their back steps and they’ll get an endorsement whether they want it or not! We’ll give ‘em the old cement overcoat treatment. Obama will be the cement Albatross we’ll hang around their necks!”

It is thought that after the election, the GOP will retaliate against Obama for the massive losses and provide the necessary rationale for a switch back to the Democrat party.

Yeap, they can ferment - old canned foods can host bacteria that can either make you see Pink 20ft tall Jesus’s or force you into the john.

The Amish ferment their Chow-Chow - Grandma Amish?

No. From Louisiana via Arkansas. Holy Roller I believe. Great Grandpa had to go cut the ropes at the tent revival meeting back in the 40’s to get her home to cook supper. I hear from the family she was rolling all over the place and speaking in tongues. Maybe it was the chow-chow.

Don’t believe a word of it. Besides, I have it on good authority the Republican Party would demand to see his birth certificate...in Obummer’s case, that’s like holding up a garlic bulb in front of a Vampire.

You mean you're snowed in down in Louisiana too?

No, that’s the fiendish beauty of it. “Legally”, all he has to do is say “I’m now a Republican” three times, and click the heels of his ruby slippers together, and KERBAM!, he’s a Republican! Nothing anybody can do about it.

parsy, who looked up what it takes to become a Republican many years ago

No, I bugged out and hid right after I posted this about Operation Albatross before I could get picked up and water-boarded by Rahm’s Rangers.

parsy, who figures its worth it to hang out in a root cellar for a few months so that the truth could get out

Ummmm Parsy.... there are no cellars in Louisiana..... the water table is too high, they all flood.... that’s why the graveyards are all on raised ground, the caskets otherwise float to the top pushing the soil off.... seriously.... just look at the number of crypts in Louisiana as opposed to dug in the earth graves......

Just sayin....

Great thread by the way, I have been cracking up. Oh and take some ant-acid, you are gonna need it with your diet.....

I’m up in the Northwest corner of the state. Some of the family have been here since turn of the century (1900) when they got run out of Arkansas for some misunderstandings with the law. I think the cellar was dug at the time of WWI so that a couple of the boys could hide out from the draft board and also avoid embarrassing questions from the local police about certain of their activities.

parsy, who just got to wondering if anyone might follow the orange extension cord from the house out here to the cellar? Oooops.

We can easily neutralize Rahm’s plan, by having Carl Rove join the Democrat party. Heh...

Those misunderstandings with the law can lead to sudden emigration. Happened to some of my Grand Mothers cousins in the 1880’s.
