He told me he was raised in Indonesia, had family in Hawaii and the mainland, his views on America were outragous but I dont remember any details, just the emotion. He was friendly enough, talkative.

And when I started telling him where I had been in the Corps for foreign countries, I told him I was just in Mombassa he interrupted me and said I WAS BORN THERE.

I cant prove who I saw, I cant remember his name at all, I have no recollection of his name at all, but I vaguely remember his face and it is Obama.

I remember that face.

I remember this event because I went back to the barracks to get people to gather their scrap books to go back to Honolulu to show him pictures of Mombassa so he could see where he was born.

I have met "Race Bannon" and he is a real person. So I agree with the above posters who say, contact him.

On the other hand, I also know that eyewitness memory can distort things. The often-creepy Dr. Phil ran a topic I actually watched on Friday -- two women who were raped and identified their rapists who then went to jail for lengthy terms; DNA evidence later cleared their alleged perpetrators and implicated someone similar-looking whose DNA was in the system.

There is also the tendency of emotionally abandoned children to make up fantasy stories about their romantic past with which to impress others; especially adolescents and young adults when they get away from people who actually know them. Therefore the person Race talked to, who could very well have been who he thinks he was, could have been B.S'ing.

Even if the story is true, The One did not stay in Kenya and would have had no conscious memory of being a newborn for several days in a hospital in Kenya, assuming that the rest of the apocryphal timeline is accurate -- that the mother then flew ASAP to Hawaii to establish the child as an American citizen.

So while I do not doubt for a moment what Race says he saw, and recognize that it may have been 100% accurate; I also sincerely regret that it won't meet any standard of proof.

You'd think the prez would just show his frikkin' birth certificate and be done with it.

True. No matter Zer0 isn't going to be impeached over this issue, sadly it's a dead end. The thing that we must concentrate on is neutralizing him as best we can by getting conservatives into congress and into local offices to act as a sort of farm team for future elections.

Only Marines on that mission were the helo crews. It is doubtful any serviceman would identify a brief landing in Iran as a deployment. That term carries a sense of extended service in a particular theater.

I believe Obama has not minions to identify his opponents with those people who believe he is foreign born. He can then paint those in opposition as being birthers, and not worthy of serious consideration.

Releasing his BC removes that portion of his political strategy.
