Here is video of Chris Matthews asking Andrew Young, the former Edwards aide who has written a tell-all book, "How do you feel about that, being basically a rat fink?" (Video)
Matthews told Young that he "can't imagine being in politics working for a guy that I'd given up on, it seems to me that you ought to get out...don't work for somebody that you think is a louse, you did for a year."
Young said what he did was not morally right but he said that he had "responsibilities."

Stay classy, Tingles’..
It’s important to remember that Edwards was seen AS A GOD among the gays in the Mainstream Media. He was supposed to be Hillary’s VP.
Remember how they wailed and lamented when Obama didn’t choose him as VP?
I wonder if the guy ever killed anyone’s dog or cat, slashed anyone’s tires, asked how anyone’s kids were...
This episode shows the levels political cronies will go to protect their bosses. clintons goons would laugh at this amateur effort.
I would have asked Matthews how would he feel if his sissy looks got drastically altered by him continually running into my fist....
So Tingles knows all about being a rat.
I see no difference between this guy and Matthews shilling for Obama.
So, Sissy kept his mouth about Tip’s dirty doings.
“rat fink?”
Hissy invokes Reagan’s 11th commandment, never speak badly about a left wing scumbag
Edwards is reported to have beaten his dieing wife. Have you no shame, Hissy?
The normal journalistic approach would be to pile onto Edwards and ask Young why on Earth he would take a dive for some pompous prima donna politician. If a journalist would want to beat up Young, one would expect them to hammer Young as a sycophant who would sell out his family to advance his political career.
That Chrissy views Edwards as some kind of sympathetic character, betrayed by Young is just beyond me.
As to the question of if it was "morally right", I think Young had the moral right to expose the truth about Edwards.
The mainstream press knew about the affair, and kept it under cover. They had the moral right to expose it, but didn't. It took the National Enquirer to do that.
I must have missed the part where he asked Scott McClellen the same question.
“How do you feel about that, being basically a rat fink?”
I would have replied, “how do you feel about being Obama’s c***sucker?”
Cheers!
