Giving money to Haiti is just another popular fad

It seems virtually everyone has jumped on the "Give to Haiti" bandwagon. From little kids to super-celebrities, giving to Haiti has become the popular thing to do - the fad d'jour.

Celebrities like Olivia Wilde met in California yesterday to raise money for Haiti at the Artists for Peace and Justice event.

"Hope for Haiti Now" was reminiscent of the 1980's when Live Aid and We Are The World took the country and the world by storm ...

Now whether you realize it or not, you have already made a financial contribution to Haiti ... Because the United States Government immediately got the ball rolling by pledging $100 Million from ... the members of Congress? the Obama family? no, from you and me, the American citizens, and as always, their financial prowess fell far short of reality.

The latest numbers are up to $379 Million to show everyone in the world how wonderful we are to come to the rescue of those in need ...

Alot of people what pet Haiti kids. It’s just a seasonal thing.

Those are definitely good organizations. As pointed out in the article, it should at least be our choice.

I am so sick of Haiti. Of course all the celebrities are working on Haiti, if they don’t, they lose their jobs.
