Here is video of President Obama during his State of the Union Address essentially trying to intimidate the Supreme Court by berating their decision to give free speech rights to American Corporations in political campaigns.
After Obama slammed the Supreme Court for their decision, you could see Justice Samuel Alito shake his head and appear to say to himself "not true," as the Democrats stood and applauded all around the Supreme Court members.
I don't know if there is precedent for a President to do something like this or not in a State of the Union Address with the Court sitting in front of him, but it seems to me this was way out of bounds and totally disrespectful. . . . (VIDEO)

Did you see the Democrats applauding as they leaned over SCOTUS?
No class at all.

That was a ridiculous thing for him to do. What, does he think the justices of the Supreme Court are a bunch of wet-behind-the-ears first-year associates to be cowed by a gruff partner? Please. All he did was ruin any hopes of a cordial relationship between the Court and his administration on any matters he brings before the Court - only an idiot of the epic sort like Obama treads so brazenly and callously on the institutional jealousies among the three co-equal branches of our federal government.

Just shows how petty and vindictive he really is. This is not the time or place to publicly embarrass a pillar of our government. Obama is flat out getting scary. He cannot handle anyone who remote disagrees with him. He does not understand the office of the president at all. A crybaby in a candy store is what he is. Just like his ongoing feud with Fox News.
The SC comments will further erode the independent votes. I knew Obama was going to be a bad president, but I thought he would get away with him. But this guy is sinking fast.

I agree that Presidents frequently criticize SC decisions, but to do so - and humiliate a coequal branch of government - in such a public setting is bound to enrage the justices. I may be mistaken, but I don't believe that one of the justices, even those who voted against the decision, stood during the incident.

Overall a great night for Freedom. While this petty child president is trying to cram HC down America's throat, McDonnell comes on and says gummit needs to be smaller. Throw in the coddling terrorist line and it doesn't get much better.
Pray for America's Freedom

Justice Alito is our hero!
Obama was entirely out of line.
He and his entire Marxist administration need to be removed from office.

Did I see the “wise Latina woman” sitting next to him and NOT standing up? Something about that is a tad bit reassuring.

" I agree that Presidents frequently criticize SC decisions "
We need examples other Presidents doing this, and we need to make a distinction between what is just disagreeing with the Supreme Court, and openly bashing them in front of the whole nation and criticize them.
