Tax the Rich, then blame them for leaving and causing unemployment to be even higher.

Typical Liberal logic

All it will do is send the “rich” to other states. California has had an exodus for years because of their looney laws. Lets hope Oregon does not follow suit.

I’m telling ya,
along the Oregon coast Cape meares area is so beautiful I nearly folded here in Florida to go there.
So liberal I’d have gone to jail for weapons posession, and any number of a multitude number of anti social laws.

I am an Oregon CPA and work for a small accounting firm in the Portland area. I have had two conversations with wealthy clients in the past couple of months about moving out-of-state if these silly ballot measures pass, one to Las Vegas and one across the river to Vancouver, WA.

One of the reasons I love the Fair Tax is that the “poor” will finally be made to pay their fair share...

It’s badd enough the way the economy is right now in Oregon but if they vote it in they’ll just be shooting themselves in the foot just like Kah-lee-for-nee-ya!

The sad thing is that with meltdown in California, Oregon had a real opportunity to attract companies and diversify our economy. Instead the Governor and the Legislature decided to tax our way to prosperity. I expect we will lag behind the rest of the country in the recovery by two to three years as we have in the past.
