It shows a serious lack of judgement/discernment on her part (imo) If she can't read the tealeaves or understand the voters any better than this, she will just lose credibility. Yes, she got where she is through sheer grit and determination...now she has to make prudent judgement calls to continue to be perceived as a serious figure. Campaigning for McCain isn't going to do anything to elevate her. She owes nothing to McCain...she said 'Thank you'...her obligation is over.

I have suspected for a long time, that Sarah Palin is indeed a RINO.

Yes, Sarah Palin is a RINO.

Ah, well - she failed some ideological test of purity and must be banished. The GOP must be purged of anyone with a snowball's chance in hell of ever getting elected. Reagan would probably be denounced as a RINO by some folks these days.

The proverbial rock and a hard spot, what's a girl to do?

Well since MaCain is a lose, lose for Sarah she needs to first do wants right and then do whats best for her.

What's right? Is it right to stab MaCain in the back? She was after all his Veep pick. Is Hayworth really that better of a choice? I will leave that one for you to decide.

What's best for her? No way in hell is Sarah going to get elected to ANYTHING if the American voters see her as traitorous ungrateful back stabbing b*tch. Yes this will hurt her with the purists that can not see the forest thru the trees and yes other opportunists seeking to advance themself (Allen Keys anyone) will roast her in the fires of hell. But if you think about it, she really had no choice. She made her deal with the devil in 2008 and now he wants his pound of flesh.

Who is Paul Streitz, and why should I care what he thinks about anything?

McCain is just plain maddening and I wish Sarah Palin could just walk away. But either McCain or someone advising him does seem have good political instincts. He also saw something in Scott Brown. Unfortunately he recognizes the rising stars and latches onto them early. As irritating as this is. We are not going to win elections by attacking the rising stars. It is not their fault that McCain is helping them out early and then looking for favors later.

She is loyal. McCain gave her national prominence and she is repaying him. Hothing at all wrong with that.

So after one endorsement you don’t agree with you’re throwing her overboard. Her pro-life position is not RINO. Is this a real b$llsh$t article.

Where are all the attacks on Scott Brown for making robocalls supporting McCain, where are the attacks on Brown for having his first meeting in DC with McCain, where are the attacks on Brown for planning on campaign stops for McCain?

A little inconsistency there. Sarah Bad, Brown Good.

I was a fan of Palin myself. But I’m now convinced that she’s not a conservative, nor is she a politician qualied for the Presidency of the United States. She’s simply just another RINO endorsing another RINO. No real conservative would ever endorse McCain for the Senate.

If the Republicans lost Goldwater's seat it would mean the eclipse of conservatism for a long time.

The alternative of giving McCain one more term doesn't look so bad.

Although supporting a rino is always questionable, only fools or leftists would try to say it makes Palin herself a rino. There are clear reasons, other than agreement on policy, for her to campaign for him, painful as it is for many of us.

If Palin acts like a rino based on her policies, then she’s a rino. She has not done that. Her endorsement of McCain cuts like a knife, but it’s not enough to stop supporting her.

McCain is the one who endorsed his own opponent during the campaign. As far as I know, Palin doesn’t have it in her.

Remember, Palin advocated profiling. That’s why she’s not a rino.

There are, what, 200-225 Republicans (including RINO's) in Congress? Has anyone ever come up with a list of the two or three who are conservative™ enough?

I'm looking for a comprehensive list . . . one that even our Third Party malcontents do not dispute.

Since when did loyalty become a dirty word. McCain put her in the national spotlight, put her in a position where she could write a book and actually make some money on it, get on Fox News, and heck maybe even make a run at Pres. I loathe McCain, swore off voting for him years ago and plan to hold to that, but if I were in her shoes I’d campaign for him this year, I’d owe it to him.
