Although I normally have a visceral dislike for Chris Matthews, I enjoyed this video where he just hammers Howard (The Scream) Dean, and I thought that FReepers might enjoy it too :-)
It plays for just under ten minutes and can be viewed either at the link above or again right here:
Chris Matthews Goes Off On Howard Dean
Maybe there is an “anti-Rahm” movement in the WH behind the scenes.....
parsy, who likes conspirscies
I've seen the same dynamic at work in my town whenever a proposed school budget is voted down. Many confused Democrats are seemingly unable to grasp the concept that their socialist wet dream is not shared by everyone, and that they actually lost the election because people are not happy when the government steals more and more of their money.
Instead, they insist, contrary to all evidence, that the proposed budget was voted down because the proposed spending increase was not big enough (!), and then they implore the school board to increase the size of the budget proposal rather than cutting it before the next budget referendum...
“Scott Brown did not campaign as a right-wing Republican.”
—Howard Dean
HOOOO-LEEEEE CRAP!
That was AWESOME!
What is unbelievable is that this is the line that the Democrats are taking: Coakley lost because the health care plan didn’t go far enough.” And Matthews NAILED HIM on it.
That is NOT going to buff out... B^)
That line was at 5:38 into the clip, btw.
You’re silly!
No, you’re silly!
Geez, are these two grown adult males?
(I almost said “men”, but these two are not men.)
Perhaps it's his intent to create his own reservation...one for those even beyond the hard-left, tinfoil hat, barking moonbat, America-hating lunatics?
Someone needs to adjust his meds before he starts playing the bongos in the middle of Time Square.
He is a doctor and so he is most likely adjusting his own medications, which is convenient for him and makes for fine entertainment for us.
He is bananas and the scary part is that I think he may actually believe his own BS.
I think that for some people, particularly those on the Left, being placed in a position where you're constantly on camera before a worldwide or at least a national audience combined with being in a position of creating policy tends to actually cause the brain to physically disintegrate, much like syphilis. Most likely it won't be too long before he will start demanding a space shuttle ride to the Moon so that he can confer on policy matters with the King Of The Potato People, who lives there. The Dems and the media will still adore him, deriding his detractors as 'know-nothing troglodytes who are unable to see the big picture' and there will be PBS specials on how "The Republicans Crucified Jesus".
And because his 'party' is in charge and they essentially run the media, they get to be the ones who determine who is sane or not. My advice is to try to act like an utterly unhinged, barking moonbat whenever you fear you may be within earshot of Dems so that they will think that 'you're okay'. Acting like a normal person may cause you to be carted off to a rubber room.
My daughter graduated from UVM last May and Howard Dean was the commencement speaker. If I had my suicide vest with me, I would have taken him out.
As I heard Deans speech he said, we won, we will win forever...My daughter who graduated from UVM a right winger like me, texted me at the conclusion..YeaAAAAAAAA!
Every dollar spent was worth it.
Congratulations to your daughter for her accomplishments and also for having a parent who is smart and is a true Patriot.
Thanks for the ping!
Thanks for this thread and the link for the show... I would have missed it otherwise. ;-)
You’re quite welcome, and I’m delighted that you’ve found it to be interesting and worthwhile :-)
That was the funniest thing I’ve watched all day. It’s like going to the circus to see a contortionist only in this case the contortion is verbal. To quote the words of that famous philosopher, Bugs Bunny, “What a maroon!”
Howard Dean is just playing the part of the useful little progressive/fascist/socialist.
I saw a clip.
Getting schooled by tweety, how embarrassing for Dean.
Matthews has been looking rational compared to the libs about this election. He wants Obama to move towards middle and be Clinton like. He wants Obama to be a success (popular) and realizes they must understand what went wrong.
Dean thinks it’s go left and increase attacks on republicans. At this point that is a disaster for dems.
Maddow got mad at Matthews Tuesday night for similar reasons.
That was one of Matthews best moments. He has a sense of realism.
You gotta see this! It will brighten your day!!
