The recent Washington Post headline says it all "Poll shows growing disappointment, polarization over Obama's performance". Exactly one year after he took office, the majority of the American people say President Obama is not delivering on his major campaign promises and over a third say he is falling short of their expectations. This is not a sign of a fickle electorate. This is what happens when millions of people are conned by someone who has no idea how to do the job he has sworn to do. I am hoping that the second Cater in my lifetime will be followed by the second Reagan.
I’m less concerned about his not delivering on campaign promises and much, much more concerned that he is in the process of destroying the nation.
this is the same reason I did not vote for him, to be honest like most voters I did not know about his shady past. I was pressured by my family to vote for him but at the last minute I changed my mind (McLame is no better but...)

On the other hand, if we break their hold this fall, but lose in 2012, then we will still get to enjoy the spectacle of a politically gelded Obama shrieking in impotent rage, with little flecks of spittle dotting his cheeks, and his veins popping out on his temples, as we shut down any more attempts to force the country leftward against its own wishes and best interests.
Considering the current crop of contenders, I for one would be inclined to vote for a second term for Zero-bama if, and I stress if, we can break the Democrats' hold on Congress with enough of a margin that we can reliably stop anymore leftward nonsense.
Amen.
A pro-growth, pro-American candidate with a sunny disposition could win over independents and many Democrats, as the great Gipper proved.
Two words: Sarah Palin!
