This is a somewhat funny episode that makes ‘experts’ look like fools. If you take out all these old sites....you lessen the overall data...which no one in the scientific community can argue about. Less data...less facts. But if you asked any of these people about it....they’d just point at models...which are absolutely without fact...as their back-up.
Aren't we getting dangerously close to having government promote a religion? They are even using their government positions to promote their faith.

Asheville is the first community to exhibit at the American Meteorological Society’s annual trade show, the largest of its kind for weather and climate businesses.
Economic developers, civic and business leaders will highlight the city’s growing reputation at the annual meeting starting Monday, trying to add to the city’s existing 500 jobs in climate research, services and support.
...Those efforts have paid off, helping Asheville land the Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites, an academic group assisting NCDC, which will bring some $32 million over five years and add perhaps as many as 100 scientific jobs to the area.
