Here is Chiefio's plot of the number of weather stations used in the database as a function of time. Anyone can smell a rat here. They are throwing away data that doesn't fit their preconceived notion about GloBull Warming.

Very intersting thing happened here in Kansas City the other day. I am sure very few people noticed it. I was watching KMBC news weather,it was one of the coldest nights of the year. The weather map comes up and Brian Busby starts telling us the local temps. The map show -5, -6, -2,etc except for three spots right in the middle of Kansas City that where showing, 8, 9, and I believe 10. Even Busby made a comment that he was not sure what was going on at those spots. Now Kansas city center and the Airport usely have 2 or 3 degrees diffrence, probable because of all the concret. But this was very strange.

Now, I wonder which weather stations the warmers use for their data?
