I have been following the details of Steorn's ongoing public launch here for a while now - and apparently there is still lots to be revealed between now and the rest of January. Many people are watching and waiting to see if more conclusive proof of Steorn's claims will be forthcoming.
The reason I have given Steorn and its technology so much time and attention is the revolutionary nature of what the company is claiming and the manner in which they are presenting it to the public. It appears they will be going to great lengths later this months to provide validation of their Orbo technology in a public forum. If Orbo truly does provide "free, clean and constant energy at the point of use", then Sean McCarthy is not exaggerating in saying that Steorn is offering a technology that could "change everything".

Unless anyone has done a considerable amount of research on what is going on with ZPE, one should not just say “it’s a lot of BS”
ZPE can tap huge amounts of energy and it has been proven not to violate the laws of Thermodynamics.
An example of what happens when anyone demonstrates a working “Overunity” system regards an inventor by the name of Jim Watson. In 1984 he demonstrated a self powering 8kw generator at the International Tesla Conference in Colorado Springs. At the conference engineers in the audience were invited to the platform to perform their own independent measurements of the unit while it was running and powering its load. The engineers directly confirmed that the system was delivering power to the load (could also be visually observed) and that it was recharging its batteries as well.
Shortly after the conference Watson disappeared, stopped all contact with friends and associates. So he had a device that worked, then why did he disappear? If he were a scammer he would have bled the thing for all it was worth. The common opinion among ZPE researchers is that he was made an offer he could not refuse. Basicly take this money and disappear or die. Another researcher by the name of Marinov supposedly jumped off a building in Europe. To this point anyone who has come up with a successful ZPE device has died under less than normal circumstances or disappeared. There is also the issue of patents which have been filed only to be declared secret in the interest of “national security”.
Why is there a fear of being killed? Think about the ramifications of millions of breadbox size devices that can power a car or a home at only the initial cost of manufacture. Now who might go to any length to suppress such technology? What would happen if suddenly the only use for oil is for lubrication and chemical industry applications? Just who might be interested in suppressing such technology and what lengths might they go to stop it?
Thankfully at this point there are so many people working on it that it will be impossible for it to be stopped. So I think it is only a matter of time until operational systems are in manufacture and available for sale.
I would suggest that anyone who would really like to find out more about ZPE, read a book by Thomas Bearden PhD called “Energy from the Vacuum, Concepts & Principles”
Well so far I haven’t heard of any skullduggery going on around Steorn. But if Orbo is demonstrated to be real and useful it will generate lots of attention. If it starts threatening economic or political interests it could stir up opposition.
Thank God they’ve discovered things that COMPLETELY defy the laws of physics! It’s about time!
Thermodynamics. It’s not just a good idea, it’s the law.
“The people whose interest it is to keep using fossil fuels ultimately cannot kill everyone who is working on ZPE.”
No, Big Oil and the league of Utility Operators, in collusion with King Coal will just make everyone associated with ZPE look foolish. They’ll make it seem that you are involved in a “perpetual motion conspiracy” (they always say that). The objective is to make it seem that just because the scrappy ZPE contenders are somehow not providing actual evidence of their device functioning, that they should not be taken seriously.
Their game never changes......”Laws of Thermodynamics”, “Creation of energy out of thin air”, “perpetual motion”, “complete nonsense”, “no evidence of actual energy generation”, “pie-in-the-sky”.....these are all things that they’ll throw around, just like they always do.
Who do these guys thing they are?
Sorry - bad choice of words. What I mean is I haven’t heard of nefarious activities directed at Steorn. They seem to have been able to carry out their plans without external forces trying to shut them down.
Steorn announced that scientists and engineers would be able to review the technology, that also hasn’t materialized
Apparently that will be taking place over the next few weeks. They have a public experiment scheduled for tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. GMT
It would be great if you are right.
However, it would take some pretty serious, groundbreaking science - made available to other scientists to verify - to get many knowledgeable people to believe that the laws of thermodynamics have been repealed.
Can you provide this kind of proof?
For good reason. And I would love it if the new technology works. But the "laws" of physics are not used primarily to deflate con schemes. They are used to design and develop all of our technology. They are called "laws" because they always work and can always be depended on in all circumstances (so far.)
I trust but verify. You clearly trust but have you verified yet?
“I trust but verify. You clearly trust but have you verified yet?”
I was being obtusely sarcastic. Thousands of years of science cannot be discarded. I do not trust this until it delivers product that performs. Until then it’s complete BS. Why are they adding drama? If they could perform then they’d do so without the drama.
No, I suspect that they really want “investors” to part with money for “research” to perfect the “technology”. That is their business model - not creating a device that can perform useful work with no fuel source.
But hey, if I’m wrong and get egg on my face for mocking this as BS I’ll admit it - afterall, with all this free power available, it will be easier to stomach the embarrassment when they new age of prosperity is opened for all through ZPE!
This technology will make the 150mpg carburetor obsolete!
I'm sorry, I should have recognized.
But remember, the science *is* settled in some areas, like Globull warming... ;0)
I did not say nor did anyone else that the laws of thermodynamics have been repealed. ZPE does not violate those laws.
Anyone who is interested enough to do anything more than just blow ZPE off as BS will with a little research see why.
It is not at all clear than anyone is really blowing off ZPE.
We have professional specialists to do this kind of open, repeatable, verifiable research. The kind of researchers that are proving Globull warming to be a fraud.
We call them "scientists."
Since I'm not qualified to judge the technology myself I'll defer to the "scientists" to make a determination. I also reserve the right to change my mind if I actually see it actually working in a real-world setting (as opposed to a demo or a sales promotion.)
Please note that I did not say "marketers" or "pitchmen" or "venture capital seekers" or any number of other professionals.
I said "scientists" who get paid by disinterested third parties to do this kind of thing.
I can’t help but be sarcastic with stuff like this.
Again....why the drama? That is a sure tip-off that drama is really the product for sale, not “free energy”.
Drama is the one thing that I am confident this technology can generate in abundance with no fuel source whatsoever.
I certainly understand the “mañana” frustrations. I do think it is worth watching the company over the next few weeks though - they claim this will be the time for public validation of their technology.
To be fair...The whole bunch of con men should be tossed in jail. they are not going to produce more energy then is used by some clever arrangement of magnets and gibberish about decoupling Emf from torque or such.
“The only one threatened are other snake oil salesmen who don’t like that Steorn has the market cornered.”
I bet if someone did actually come up with ZPE or whatever, the people whose heads would explode most would be the Luddites on the Left who don’t want people to have cheap abundant energy.
I would say that is a very sound position to take on Steorn’s or any other claim.
Thank you.
In the 50s (I read about this later) there was a huge push to include chlorophyll into all foods to "make us healthier." How much chlorophyll do we add now? None.
Globull warming, "free" energy, you name it. Computers were the same way but actually worked and now they're everywhere.
Science works. Not politics, not marketing. Science. Oh, and engineering. Engineering matters too.
