Obama has notoriously dithered after every terrorist attack we have seen on American soil since he has taken office: Fort Dix, New Jersey, where a crazed Muslim terrorist attacked a recruiting office, Fort Hood, Texas, where a terrorist, and possible al Qaeda “sleeper” murdered our troops, to the Eunuchbomber on Christmas Day, Obama his been down right pathetic in his response.
So clueless is Obama that neither he, nor his CIA Director Leon Panetta, or even Panetta’s deputy director, Stephen Kappes, saw the need to return from their vacations to deal with terror attacks world wide. Remember, the CIA just lost one of it’s most strategic posts and seven very valuable officers when an al Qaeda “double agent” just waltzed into headquarters and blew himself and everyone else up.

Sarah is literally the only conservative politician right now who is dissenting with any conviction whatsoever. Her facebook post recently about Obama’s pathetic response to the war on terror was everything I hoped an elected official would say.
There were 22 GOP senators who signed a petition requesting that the panty bomber be tried in a military court. But the 22 senators, including the great Demint, don’t have fire or the notoriety to make as much of a difference as Sarah.
I really don’t get FReepers who hate Sarah, when she is speaking out EVERY time on every issue, including death panels and now this. Every time her statements get picked up and spread around by the press and her statements are withering, but that’s not good enough for the idiots on our side who want to destroy her.
Call me an extremist but those on our side who snipe at her are aiding their master Obama and they may not even realize it.
Surfer Boy has to take his lead from a mere woman? And one from the boondocks? I wonder where that measures on the “cool meter”. chuckle

The snipers are not on our side and they do realize what they are doing. It is not possible to be a genuine conservative and fail to be inspired by Palin. Those who snipe at her are drones from the dark side.
The recruiting-office attack was in Arkansas. Near Little Rock, as I recall.
I lived in California when Reagan was Governor. He delivered a weekly commentary on the radio. I didn’t know much about him. I’m not even sure he was Governor when he was doing the commentaries. But the ideas he expressed and the clarity of the expression made a lasting impression on me. Since then I have been interested in anything he has to say or write. It’s obvious why he’s known as the great communicator.
Palin’s commentaries are like those of Reagan. Few public figures have their gifts of communication. Few public figures seem to have thought things through like these two.
