This is a purely unscientific poll designed strictly for fun and to allow our readers to sound off on current news and political events.

Can I hear a hell yeah??
Actually its used in every facet of law enforcement already. Profiling is human nature/second nature to cops. We just don’t need to make a public policy and forum out if it. Just kick it up a notch.
Only IDIOTS cannot learn from past mistakes.
Right about the time the Eunich-bomber was setting up to explode my 83 year old uncle was telling me about all the airport hassle he had to endure before his flight in to visit the family. Profiling exists. But only if your an octogenarian, veteran or have a sticker stating “I support the Constitution” affixed to your cars bumper.
Right now I believe they often use what I call reverse profiling. My wife and I are middle aged white people who dress conservatively and look friendly, helpful and harmless to everyone. When there is a lost child, puppy, or someone in having any kind of difficulty we are always the first people to help. We are not frequent flyers. Despite following all of the rules to the letter at the airport, we have been pulled aside and stripped searched on several occassions. At the same time other persons in our immediate vicinity who have looked and have been acting suspicious were waved through with no scrutiny.
I believe it this has happened so frequently because my wife and I look like we won’t make a fuss or be confrontational, and this makes it easier and less stressful for security personnel to make it look like they are doing their job. Often these searches have been performed by people who were members of racial minority groups, so I have sometimes wondered whether this may have been a factor also.

Those pics might just be a little TOO much profiling.
Incredible ain’t it?
