Millionaire celebrities with charming lives advising other millionaire celebrities with charming lives and trite problems. Uhm, OK.
Mean? Really? So now we can’t say somethng because it may be mean? I don’t see it as mean at all. Most religions work for a life change if the person WANTS IT. Therein lies the rub. It didn’t work for Brit’s son, I’m glad it works for Brit. But for him to deride Buddhism seemed a little...what’s the word...MEAN?
This was once, not that long ago, common in public discourse. Heard Brit say it and it jarred me. Wouldn't my grandparents.
Christians are commanded not to.
And those who follow HIM just sat back and took it. What does that tell you?
We were given FREE WILL by Him. It is us to choose what we want and do not want. Some in America took their free will to follow the Communist Manefesto (separation of church and state) and removed our Saviour from the class rooms, out of federal buildings, work places and anyone who mentions Him, are taken to the wood shed.
Other people, in addition to me, have advised you of your lack of compassion in comments regarding Sandy Hume. You might want to take some of these comments under consideration——or not. It’s never too late to try to be a better person.
So....how'd that work for ya?
Oh, man. You don’t know me at all...that’s the problem with these rash generalizations...Brit bashes Buddhists and I’m a bad person for calling him out on it. OK, whatever.
“I love that Brit put religion into it.”
True. Religion, and a person’s relationship with Christ, is the basis for all of life. Not to bring in the subject is to ignore the elephant in the room.
That was cruel.
I was just in Malaysia and it was clear to me that we are so blessed to live in a Christian society, even if many of us are a little lost ans don't even realize it.
Bravo Brit!!!!!
Amen~!!
Amen and cheers for him having courage to stand against “ Political Correctness!”
And I might add that he conquered everything except himself.
My Christian nephew committed suicide due to a thought disorder caused by extensive brain surgery. Believe, me, these existential questions are endless, and I don’t think we can know the “whys.”
Maybe not but it sure helped Brit get through some tough times.
Why can’t he do both? Where is that written?
I’m sorry for your loss.
